  • Grazie di questa chicca

  • Connie is a Goddess!

  • Che bella canzone cantata da un grande cantante, il favoloso il migliore di tutti i tempi la bella ragazza Connie Francis

  • Love you connie

  • I believe that you are correct, using my memory. I bought the English version of this 45 in the mid 1960s and played it well over 1,000 times. I believe that Connie recorded a few Tony Hatch songs, but I can't find them. Connie's version of Petula Clark's Round About is my favorite song of the 1960s.

  • Connie Francis - the greatest ever

  • Love this song in italian and english.

Rock n Roll Hall of fame long overdue!!!

  • I have the single on ebay if your interested

  • Tony Hatch wrote this. One of my favorite Connie songs in English.

  • I thought this song had a Tony Hatch sound. THANKS for clarifying - what LP of hers is this on in English. Isn't is "Love is Me, Love is You?"

    THANKS.

  • one CD this is on in english is Souvenies 4CD set.

Sounds much better in English. Love is me Love is you was Connie Francis' last top 40 hit in U.S.

  • Are you sure? I think her last Top 40 hit was "Be Anything" in 1964,and this got as far as #66 a couple of years later. It did get into the A/C Top 30.

The German version was sung by Gaby Vesper ("Einmal eins das ist eins")

  • Thank you, THANK YOU for pssheba mentioning Jackie Trent!!! I KNEW I had listened to this not too long ago!! It is a cover of the English "Love is You, Love is Me" that Trent's famous husband Tony Hatch wrote!! Likely for her to sing before he let others do it!!

I don't think I've seen an English version Connie did! Maybe in German?

  • If ya'll find the English version of this please post the web address. I love to hear Connie sing, no matter what language. I know she speaks at least 13 languages. Very intelligent, gifted woman. Thanks for sharing another video of the awesome, amazing Connie Francis!

  • Thanks for this great Connie video. Connie is the greatest!

  • anybody...I need the lyric in italian from this song thanks

  • Great !!!

  • There were two efforts at this,in England. The first was the flip-side of Roundabout in 1965,and the second was an improved "A" side production in 1966. However,by that time the appeal of the record had been spotted by other singers, and at least two more versions came out in competition at the same time, thus diluting her sales. Had she released it first in 1965..but she didn`t.

  • I need this song in english, where is the link?...thanks

  • Connie can sing in every language... even in my own... Dutch! She's great!!!

  • Her Italian pronunciation in the songs is near-native. She doesn't have a marked American accent..but her Italian pronunciation has a slight regional quality to it..she most likely grew up hearing and speaking dialect, rather than standard Italian. Of course..her singing is no indication of her ability to speak or understand the language. I would guess she speaks a regional dialect ( Southern )..and had to learn ( memorize ) the Italian as if a foreign language.

  • actually connie didnt learn to speak italian until she went to italy and had an italian coach

  • That's very interesting, great miming skills ! Then she never learned to speak Italian..just to parrot the pronunciation. Her coach instilled a regionally Southern variety..and she lost her American accent (poof! ).. great teacher .. great artist.. Connie is tops ! : )

  • Question to Italian speakers: how is her Italian? Does she sound like she has an American accent?

  • Wonderful, what the Italian name of this song? And thanks for posting!

  • The English version of this song is titled Love Is Me, Love Is You.

  • Where can this video be downloade from?

  • great video...i somehow remember that as a dim television memory from italy she is just the best thing since sliced bread

  • She is certainly true to her Italian heritage!

  • You're STILL the greatest Connie

  • Fantastic vintage footage of Connie singing in Italian. I don't speak this language, but it sure looks like she is both feeling and knows every word she is singing. OMG, could this woman sing!

  • The Italian version of her Love Is Me, Love Is You.

  • Very happy to watch this rare italian clip of Connie!

  • WOW Connie is so beautifull in this Music Video!! I love how she shakes her grove thing in this video! She's a very wonderfull and speical person!

  • This is terrific! I've only seen one other Italian TV performance. She looks great in this clip -- it's like watching black-and-white MTV! Also, this is living proof of how well she sang in Italian!

  • Wow...love it..never saw Connie so lively and natural

  • I love video! She looks like my Mom...

  • I love Connie. Great clip, thank you

  • Loved it!!!!...thanks for posting this video....
