  • why not use scissors?

  • @tuzinikureseju why do u use bus trains....why not go on foot...

  • Science projects on my website mousetrap cars, water rockets, air rockets, and foam gliders.

  • @ScienceguyOrg man it's mechanical project....not any cicuits used.....we have to make using cutting metal, CNC machine, driller etc.....we have also made complex electrical & electronics project in 3rd year and 4th year.....

  • good

  • hiiiiiiiii iam mechanical final year student. IAM REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT MY FINAL PROJECT. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT IT. CAN YOU HELP ME............

    ankit_3108@yahoo.com

  • best part is.. It was a new idea.. not copied from anywhere else.. we were planning to use it for cutting something better but the blade was not very strong and sharp so we kept its name "paper cutter" :) :)

  • actually no motor or external power was allowed.. so we are using hands to rotate it otherwise it can work quite fast... there is a rubber pad over which strips of paper can be kept.. and you can see the blade moving perpendicular to it..

  • im liking that geneva drive:P

  • .....all u have to do is get a pair of scissors, not spend 100 bucks on bulding something like that

  • ya but if you made a bigger version of that same thing and made it run faster then you would have something...

  • I can't see the "cutter" nor the paper... Please explain... thanks for sharing .. but I am really curious to know what this is. I know it's a paper cutter, but how does it work :)

  • Did you have instructions? or did you have to come up with that machine?

  • nice job go ahead

  • alot better than the last 6 legged walker project. at least this is an origional idea, not something from the toy shop

  • it's a paper cutter man... don't u see written on it by chalk..

  • @opmeena I think you can make it simpler, it's too complex for just a simple work.

  • @wecantsee well if it's that simple it's boring and not worth building. It's meant to be too complex for the job!

  • @MrKaddan I see, you are trying to create complex mechanism. What school?

  • it's not complex.......we r from IIT Kanpur, INDIA...

  • @MrKaddan I see, but I don't consider it to be complex enough.

  • WAT IS IT

  • so u r becoming a mechanical engineering manager?

  • Comment removed

  • no they r from electrical branch...

  • it's a paper cutter....

  • look at its complex motion.. and it was made by 1st year IIT Kanpur students..
