Her management did get sued for it. "If i were a boy" was ready for release before Sept. 30 to make the Grammy cut-off but BC jean found out that Beyonce had recorded her song and sued. the release of the song had to be pushed back until everything was settled and BC Jean gave permission and got paid. So actually when If I were a boy was released it was NOT stolen.
