wtf I cant believe people are staying this crap of a game is better the swtor lmfao how can u stay that. First of all everyone in The Old Republic can talk and ur toon has a voice. It takes place 4000 years before this one meaning jedi and sith are every where. u will meet the most powerful Jedi and sith star wars history stronger then Vader or luke. The story is so much richer then the movie storyline. who every thinks that swtor suck go grow a brain or get out of the 70s

@148word I personally didn't think the CU was a bad update. I thought the NGE was, when about 95% of players left the game. Literally, popular cities were desolate after that update because they didn't tell anyone about it or ask if we'd be okay with it until the day it came out. Changed the entire core game engine.

@JediElderNishmo It was the WORST. I left. It made the game soooo awful. I don't know why they didn't just change it back and email everyone a "sorry here's a free month" deal. I'd still be playing.

@valdescampeon You do not need to 'unlock' the force anymore. You used to (Which I liked) until the major update, the NGE (New Game Enhancements) came into effect in which thousands of the Star Wars Galaxies players left the game for good. When you start out as a Jedi, you will gain Force Powers as you level up.

@JediElderNishmo dont get me wrong, i love lightsabers as much as the next one...However i think it was a BIG mistake to allow EVERYBODY to be a force user. It goes against the fluff of star wars and seems over all to diminish the greatness of being a force user....idk i think im ranting...lol

@darkspirtninja you go to the trial download section on the star wars galaxies website, download it and it'll ask you before installing to log into your account, thats it :)

@jt9t9 No, there is no specific class like that. The closest things to sniper rifles in this game is rifles... there isn't really any scope thing. It's mostly a matter of who has better armor, better stats on weapons, better buffs and better tactics to their special attacks.

There's no sniper class, but there is the "spy". The spy class can go prone and use abilities that utilize "sniping" with rifles, which makes the spy a lot like a sniper.

@roman11777 Yes, you can. The quest between Jedi and Sith was actually just a neat hidden thing Sony added to the game. I wish they added more of it.

@clonetrooper661 actually when your lvl 26 you get an item and you examine it and that will trigger a quest to build your first one which is the training lightsaber then at lvl 30 you get first gen lightsaber. the difference is the training lightsaber does not have a power crystal only a color crystal.

hi im mabey starting to play SWG and like to be a jedi but your vid is a little unclear about setan things.

like it woud be nice to get a little more info on the....info bar about how to work up too the point when you talk too han solo and what is required to start it.

or is it mabey just talk to a trainer and play a little quest and pay some credits and vola your a jedi ?

is perma-death still on with the jedi and how many profession can you have ?

@uglybaby001 There is nothing required any longer to start it. The point to talk to Han Solo begins at the same time you begin the tutorial. It'll guide you to Han Solo, where you can begin your journey.

Unfortunately, Sony has made it so you can only have 1 profession now. Perma-death is not on with any player at all. There are a *LOT* of Jedi now. Sony screwed up a lot when they began the New Game Enhancements a couple years ago.

All you do to become a Jedi is do this quest, and there ya go.
