LaVeyan Satanism is actually a form of atheism, Theistic Satanism is the literal worship of satan as most people think when they hear the term satanism. Silenoz talks about reading the satanic bible which is actually written by LaVey, but im pretty sure non of the guys in the band are part of LaVey's "church" as that would be hypocritical to their anti-religion views. The reason satanism is used as a term, is it is symbolic for being the complete inversion of christianity, the largest religion.
