  • My Dr advises me to drink no less than 15 COLD Beers a day. God bless him! LOL I'm followin his orders to the tee and watchin more davidsfarm vids!

  • Awesome vid guy's keep er goin.

  • New dozers are hyro-drive, similar to an automatic in a car, sort of, they don't last as long as those old gear driven ones, but are faster and can put the power down better. They cost a pretty penny to get the tranny done, think it was like $50,000 for the 977 track loader where I used to work. SOB wasn't done right still, it would near over heat the transmission during loading each truck and would require idle time to cool off.

  • were is the beer don´t abuse your beer lol

  • doziers have a safety part that keeps it from running away down hill it kicked in and toe shit up

  • Sweeeet

  • i bet he could have gotten that other track moving if he hit the left brake, he probobly could have made it.

  • it bet he could have to

  • It makes perfect sense to me

  • yo rickem. what kinda music is mostly played at the farm?

  • rick are you fucking stoned or what love the videos man keep up the stupid shit

  • dozer will it macke it up sky hill?

  • nothing with only torque will go up that hill... you need velocity AND torque to climb it...

  • Someone Watches daves videos! Awsome

  • skyhill the front end loader!

  • just clicked it 10 times

  • I think if the right track hadn't stopped it would have made it.

  • I'm content seeing the dozer crush running cars :) Sky hill was just to much for the old guy..

  • thats sucks about the clutch, dave should repaint it yellow and paint DavidsFarm Or Bust on the front of the plow!

  • How bad is the damage Rick?

  • Not bad, Dave got the clutch out yesterday and ordered the parts. It's pissin rain now and will be for the next few days.

  • We have a heavy equipment salvage not far from where i live. I could see if they have anything for a dozer that old.

  • The question is how are you gonna get the dozer back to the shop? Or are you stuck doing the repairs right where she sits? Wow...

  • nice song crazy train and nice vid

  • what do you expect for being a product of the 50's

  • when he said the clutch broke they played one ov the best songs. Sublime- What I Got

  • Hahah i was waiting for this view to watch when Dave lets go of the break when they are standing on the tracks. XD

  • haha parking ticket... If only Dave didn't hit the right brake and stopped the right track

  • at 6:46 you can hear crazy train

  • Well Dave did say "skyhill or bust " Maybe he shouldn't have said....

  • Great Camera Work RickM

  • that would have scared the shit out of me when dave pulled that lever...

  • I would like to see more of you guys talking about it...it gives you a sence of being there hangin out...

  • we got a new case that will do that no problem, that dozer should have done it to

  • A new one will do it no problem but this one is no where new is around 50 years old

  • So, It still shouldnt have a problem

  • You have to think of the wear on the clutches, engine, tracks, soft soil, in the 50's everything was heavy duty and not light. Todays stuff is still kinda heavy but lighter way lighter so it doenst have much of a load to carry up at big hill. I think If the clutch held up it would of made it. Knowing dave he would of tried until he made it up.

  • yeah, Im sure it woulda made it, but the clutche was already shit juding from the way the thing moved

  • well apparently u dont know how dozers work.

  • how so?

  • what do u mean how so, i explained the whole thing.

  • actually the clutch did make it up, it was coming down the hill that killed it, the centrifugal force totally blew the clutch plate, when that dozer is full RPM in first gear its 1100 RPM and 1 mile an hour, so when he came back down the hill @ 15 mile an hour even , though it was not engaged the clutch plate was still connected to the transmission so it spun at about 16,000 RPM which is way way to fast.

  • Thats probobly the fastest that dozers ever moved.

  • She would have made it. I like the part when dave looks down at the track like wtf is goin on.

  • dave pulls the lever and the guys about crap sooo funny

  • you guys are just to hard on the big boy toys there just old and well used, ,rick you going to help change the clutch

  • it isnt that big of a hill for dozer

  • its not the size its the steepness of it

  • i have seen dozers go up alot steeper hills than that

  • yeah but this ones outside and rusty and is abused so maybe thats why it fucked up?. it should have made it easily but, in reverse even lol

  • I'm surprised the engine didn't stall when the clutch dropped while it was rolling backwards. That's one hell of a strong diesel engine

  • i sure as fuck wouldn't be standing on the tracks when he was playing with the clutch. lol

  • hi rick do all those people that come to the farm help fix the cars ? and are you helping dave fix the dozzer

  • LOL 2:06 is probebaly the fastest the dozer has ever gone

  • the kid in the begining on the dozer has the same shoes as me

  • Sky hill or bust; I think it was Bust... :P

  • the clutch broke

  • You need to fix the rangers 4x4 what did you say you needed?

  • that thing is so heavy a r.o.p.s would be useless

  • No, rops are built for much heavier machines so this little dozer is no problem ;)

  • it needs a r.o.p.s or death it flips

  • sky hill or fucked !!!!!!!

  • At 2:18 listen to Dave ^^

  • I'm addicted to all Dave's videos ;)

  • Same here dude!

  • Oooooohhhhh.. Rick is on the track.. uuuuu. Close..

  • with that much torque you would think it wouldnt have a problem going uphill but i guess its own weight became an issue and burned out the clutch.

maybe the instruction manual stated never to go up an incline ?

  • damn , he should make it ;D

  • It looked like he was going to make it.

  • Something tells me Dave has done this once before lol.

  • cool but why is the video fuzzy

    lol

  • It hasn't completed processing.

  • fantastic
