Astig. Ang galing. As I was reading all of these comments, and watching all of those Filipino projects, I was totally amazed. I was overwhelmed how you Filipinos or Americans there in your place do appreciate Filipino class. And I'm touched. I'm very proud of all of you. And I wanted to meet GINANG SCIARRATTA.. Ha ha ha.. Hi guys, it's Tate Salazar from the filipino 1-2 klase and filipino is AWESOME. especially because it informs me of my entire heritage as well as kultura. Our teacher, (Ginang Sciarratta) is thee BEST filipino teacher evaaaaarr. And , she disciplines us while still allowing us to have fun in the class :) We do multiple activities to enhance our knowledge of the filipino culture. The activities are very interactive because we usually complete them with buddies :D Next Sem- Filipino 3-4 !hopefully

westview filipino klase really changed my perspective on things i see today. before, i didnt really care much for even being 100% filipino, i always wanted to be something different. since i joined this class, i am very proud to say that im 100% filipino:] & filipino klase is like one big family, i love going to school eveeryday JUST to see the class and ginang:] she is amazing and i love her so much , she has taught me a lot & makes me proud to be what i am. i love you ginang !

I definately have to say, the Westview Filipino class is definately one of the best learning experiences I've ever had in my last three years at Westview High!!! Ginang Sciarratta is an excellent teacher and everybody in period three are tight!

I showed this video to my cousins who came over this weekend and they were interested in taking the language at their college. Everyday I enjoy learning something new in this class.

So, I showed this video to my mom and she was surprised that so many students are interested in keeping the language alive. This is one of my favorite classes. I love learning more about the language everyday and being able to comprehend more and more of what my parents are saying. Also I love getting to know my fellow peers more each day.
