  • What a sluticious video!!!

  • you are freaks :D

  • You can definitely see the Mick Jagger influence on lead singer, Michael Hutchence.

In today's music, they don't use real drums much anymore (just drum machines). As a fellow drummer, the guy in this video was really good.

Judging by the way she handled that oyster, the brunette chick with the Big, 80's hairdo is probably a muff-diver, but I'd STILL fuck her...

    Ha! Ha!

  • Best of the inxs songs.

  • yes, why ??

  • Still awesome after all these years.

  • This is my favorite inxs song. Has an early U2's sound to it. Still great. Sad that it's not as well respected as the late 80's more pop stuff.

  • mine as well

  • you rock

  • i saw them in Tampa at the Performing Arts Center which is a 2500 seat theater (mostly for plays) in 1998 (or 99) and it was a GREAT, intimate show being such a small place. Michael Hutchins hung himself about 1 month later on that same tour. Still can't figure that one out.

  • he died in 97, but sounds awesome

  • LOL. Thanks for the info. I can't remeber what i had for breakfast yesterday, let alone over 10 years ago. : )

  • Michael looks so gorgeous in this :-)

  • i was young then he is more beautiful now that I'm older..what an amazing Man, only the good die young. I would have loved to have seen one of there shows~RIP~<3

  • Tihs video came out my freshman year. I always loved how it turned into an orgy....especially since that was so taboo for any Catholic High School student!!

I miss his voice a great deal.

  • q churro este webon! RIP

  • Just amazing how that formal banquet slowly evolves into a Roman orgy !

  • Michael...you are so missed, so sexy and I watch your vids on you tube all the time, to inspire me when I am low. I love them so. But even still, they can never fill the void left with your passing. I so looked forward to admiring your enigmatic beauty for the years to come. Alas,I have these videos...and I thank you for them. I hope you are resting in peace.

  • Gr8 song. Luv it.

  • Loved INXS then and still do now.

  • vice city flash fm flash fm vice city

  • Got to wonder if INXS in any new lead singer will ever be back again? A great song and many more as well, but they are searching for the intangible another Michael!!

  • Great song !!!

    This was my english school

    The video m m m m ok . .

    Could have been better . . .

  • We got up around 4:30 in the morning to shoot this , Soren was a brick. The discription was , your eating lustfully. We had actually been up all night. I look so transparent.... Scary. I miss Michael.

  • no way are you that sexy chick? lol

  • Thanks....I am actually the only blonde in the video... Raya was the closeup shots,But thanks ..............

  • My fav video of all time to my fav song of all time from my fav album of all time! I remember you in this video more than the other girls btw, being paired up with Kirk.

There's so much I've been longing to know about this shoot!...

  • It was fun.. feels like 1,000 years ago......

What do you want to know?

  • so what was the deal with having all those cats on the table on this video?

  • They were brought in by the stage company....

  • it's about an orgy scene and the cats rep what else PUSSY

  • I wondered where Timmy was in the beginning. LOL!

  • 25 years ago I prob. saw this video a 500 times and nevert noticed the suggestive fruit thing. No telling what other subliminal stuff was going on.

  • C'mon everybody knows this video was hinting at eating some sweet pussy!Crude I know;but I knew that when the vid was released and I was 11 then. Please don't say an 11 year old kid was more intuned to the female anatomy.hahaha

  • ever notice how a split kiwi fruit looks like female genitalia? same for when you hold a raw oyster by it's end.

  • WTF,

starts off w/ av Jimmy dean commercial

  • great song....didn't know they appealed to 13 and 14 year old girls....never felt so out of place at a concert before..did we mention screaming girls?

  • It's Not working... Please fix it for us!

  • vagina symbolism at end.

  • MrStones64,

    Uh,,,,vagina symbolism?

You mean like: "I've got vagina on my mind,

day and night, all the time."

On another "Note," I suppose, "Stones," (part of your username,) is symbolysm for testes, as in, "I love my testes, quite exceptionally."

    Sorry.

    Really.

It was there. I saw it. Just had to do it.

  • Stones as in Rolling. That's definitely vagina symbolism. They make a point of showing that particular morsel of food several times. Just ask Freud

  • MrStones64, Thumbs up.

You have a great point about how often they show that portion of food, from the middle of the video, to almost the last thing they show. and the Freud point is great, lol!

I figured you meant the Stones, but I was on a roll, and couldn't hold back.

Sorry, didn't mean to anger you. Just goofing off.

  • Reply to 'MrStones64'

Freud ...yeah ... haha... he saw something sexual in everything ...

I bet he would see something of underlying sexual frustration or thrill in going on YouTube !

  • MTV came out on cable in 80or81? nobody had cable It was so far and in between anywhere. After a party one night I stayed over my girlfriends house she had cable. MTV came on,I felt like I walked into my very own music shop. My first video was"Jefferson Starship"I can't remember the song? they were walking through sand.I stayed up all night ,It was the best...Back then to be able to hear a song and to see the band in a short story was GRAND..

  • Great song. This was one of the first videos I saw on MTV, when MTV was worth something.

  • Hutch was such a great front man .

  • My music was in the 70's and 80's, I was in my 20's. It was a great time to be young. Their were so many Bands, concerts and good people to be around. I wish we had that kind of music now, it was fun, fun, fun!

  • and no one spelled "There" correctly back then either =p

  • zeepman,

Can't decide if your comment is more of a waste of time, or is it mine.

Oh, do you teach english, or grammer, if you prefer?

  • Grammar? No. I teach sarcasm. You're welcome for the free lesson.

  • zeepman, Thumbs up!

    Great comeback.

    "I teach sarcasm," lol!

Thanks for the offer but I'm full of sarcasm, and you may think I'm full of something else, but that's cool.

Thanks for using something intelligent in your response instead of the old juvenile stuff.

  • lol it's all in good fun =)

  • Hey "zeep,"

I figure we've come full circle.

All in good fun, my friend.

  • at :53 seconds in thats one of the hottest close ups I've ever seen! I wish music was like it was in the 80s and 90s.

  • Michael had such an amazing voice and he was very handsome!

  • I heard Hutch was wearin his mom's hat in this. Fantastic!!!

  • hooks galore - and everyone's so young and attractive, you just wanna do 'em all!

  • big bread

  • Yeah Shabooh Shaabah was their turning point. With "The One thing" and the iconic "Don't Change", and the underrated "To Look At You".

They lost touch with their punk roots after this IMHO, but still produced some good songs.

Songs before Shabooh Shoobah to listen to are; Stay Young, Just Keep Walking, Simple Simon, The Loved One (Cover) and Wishy Washy.

    Enjoy

  • Wow i didn't even recognize Michael Hutchence in this video, He's so young here.

  • this song..Wow...as a high-schooler in the states...when I saw this...you knew right then...watch out for INXS...they did it right...rip Michael...I wish you were still with us...thanks for such great music..

  • yes sir indeed R.I.P. michael Hutchscene, gone but certainly not forgotten.

  • they totally rocked!RIP MH

  • INXS is one of those bands that will always define the best of 80's music !

One of my favorite all time bands...period !!!

  • I lovd this sooo much, I still play this song today.

  • i love inxs something about australian men plus MH was awesome in concert!!!

  • its awesome watching girls eat fruit and listening to a great song.double threat band.loved em.

  • fuck yeah

  • My first video intro to Inxs!! Still love it!!

  • me too

  • Always loved this tune. Was my 1st introduction to the band. Unfortunately, they kinda sucked in their later years (KICK).

  • agreed ,

  • everybody exudes hotness. very sultry.

  • the lead singer definately had a Jim Morrison style about him . very cool .

  • let's be fair. this is leagues ahead of boring jim morrison

  • lets be fair, this song came out in 1982. Jim Morrison died in 1970....Different time, different era!

  • these guys fuckin rocked!!!!!!! nothing else is necessary......

  • TOTAL INXS - no one could have done it better

  • i battered him

  • Michael Hutchence was INXS. They were never the same after he died.

  • Thanks to GTA: Vice City Stories and INXS!!

  • I discovered this song recently in a video game playtrack and many others of the 80's. I like it.

  • my favorite 80s video. too bad the lead singer killed himself. too many great talents have gone that way.

  • Thankfully singers don't act that gay nowadays...unless they're of course gay; Great one from the 80s!

  • I used to DJ this song when it was current. One of my favorites ever. The '80's were THE best decade of my life!

  • the way she eats that fruit at 38 seconds is soooooooooooo wrong.rflmao...

  • nearly as good as The Church check them out

  • OMG this song is awesome! How come I never knew who sang it?

  • cos you aint australian

  • yea your right I'm not. awesome song still

  • Hey their is a kid on youtube named Vance Lee that sounds just like Michael. Just type in Vance Lee singing Bitter tears, Of course go to youtube first. He is 16 years old.

  • can I go back to the80's? RIP Michael!

  • I hear you! I miss the music.

  • auto asphyxiation.........him and david carridine.....and what the hell kinda fruit is she eating anyways?????? i have always wondered that.....for about 25 yrs...

  • looks like a guava to me

  • It looks like and I'm sure the implication was pussy but it is actually a raw fig.

  • Yeah if you didn't get the implication there would have been something wrong! Not exactly subtle!

Interesting they got away with that in the early 80's on MTV etc.

  • song...classic. video...not so much!

  • It totally flew over my head when I was a kid, but this song is totally about " The Vag"-I mean, the repeated Pomegrante scene and the cats wandering all over the table.....Brilliant decadence captured on Betamax!!!

  • I agree w/ what you're saying. As a 12-year old, I didn't get.

Frankly, I thought this was a very creepy video when I saw it. Of course, INXS turned out to be an awesome group!

  • Yeah, I was 11 and it went totally over my head. I never really thought about it until now!

  • lulz, so agreed

  • Damn this rocks!

  • Absolutely! the way he writhes - puckers the lips, deeply eyeing the camera lens as if looking into your soul... One can see how the willing were wiggling outta their skivvies to get at all that sex-appeal he exuded playng the song-game, ooohh!

  • MH channeling Jim Morrison body language

  • Soooo Jim Morrison!

  • his name is J.D Fortune, hes a canadian from toronto ... he living in the back of his car ... which is where he came from before the rock star show. Apparently INXS members used him for the album and tour and then dumped him owing him money..... as seen on entertainment tonight (canada)

  • Don't know about the "owing money" part, but he apparently did it to himself by going off on cocaine.

  • Very fun video, Just as "Don't Change "is!!!!!!

    Google SilerBeat

  • are any of these members still apart of the group now...they had a reality show looking for a lead??????

  • They are all, except the late Michael Hutchence of course, still in the group. They made a new album and tour with the new lead singer who won the reality show competiton (I am blanking on his name).

  • JD Fortune?

  • Yes, him. Also, I read a few days ago that JD left the band. So, I wonder if they are lead-singer-less?

  • Mark Goodman said the guy who finished THIRD in the contest was likely to be JD's replacement.

  • The fruit looks like vagina, n'est ce pas? Man, Hutch had a definite Mick Jagger vibe goin' on...R I P

  • I don't think that any of us,that were around at the time this came out, thought that INXS would be more than a one-hit wonder-thankfully we were wrong-brilliant!!!!!

  • me and my brother-both black guys-used to jam the hell outta this tune! then other brothas in the hood started jammin it -lol!!!

  • Part II: I mean I used to go to parties not wealthy people but the food was abundant, well prepared, and copius--I mean I could write on and on. We are of European descent and food and parties were good, and you had so many choices. If there was a party of a 100, you made sure you could feed 300. The cakes, cookies, just decadent man.

  • This song was about La Perla lingerie, abundance of the economy, jobs, life, glory, Opium Perfume, Jordache Jeans, Neon Dresses, Concerts Galore, and a ZEST for life. The 80s were decadent and I'm glad I was part of the parties. The food, and could I just go on. It was like the 1890's in Willa Cather books. I mean

  • AAHHHH-those Jordache jeans the girls used to wear-what about Sasoon's????

  • God rest, Michael.

    ~~""

  • i remember this form the classic movie RECKLESS.

  • You would think Universal would post a better quality video.

Saw these guys in Perth back in 84!

  • I Love this song, but I never saw this video b4, the version I remember a warehouse and keyboards mounted vertically.

  • This song brings back memories from the 1980's. I miss good ol' 1983. I was in high school when this song came out. at first I kind of ignored it but when the reckless movie came I suddenly fell in love with the song.

  • That was the song Dont Change.

  • Thanks so much! I forgot about that one.I watched that vid, boy they really look young.

  • I had this tape before the video came out.

  • Donna Michelle,is that you at 3:06 ? LOL !

  • I love this song!

  • eat the kiwi babe! we all understand!

  • Hummina-hummina-hummina, waiting for everyone to get naked!

  • This is the song that not only introduced a great band to the United States, but also that

a lot of pretentious music from the seventies was mercifully put to rest.

Michael Hutenchance redefined the stature of the lead singer. He was not a Morrison wanna be, He was an artist and legend in his own right.

  • Really? I am not sure Inxs was the band that put the 80s to bed.

  • We miss you Michael.

  • M.H. was just 2 sexy! I love this video!

  • oh shut the hell up and enjoy this classic

  • What is so stereo about this vid?? This isn't stereo....it's mono. Total false advertising again by Universal.
