@Cychreus It's not that simple. You can't just take the game data off one console's disk and stick it on another console's disk, it wouldn't be compatible. They've already confirmed they're making FFVII for the PS3, since every fan was mauling them after they released that HD thing on it. They weren't going to originally, considering how big the game would be (memory/data-wise) but they eventually relented.

FFVII for the PSP was just barely compatible.

@Cychreus FFVII-IX only worked on the PSP because of the Config option, where you could completely remap the controls - except for movement controls.

Remastering a game for another console isn't as easy as it sounds.

I haven't watched all of them yet, but when you got to choose between the original and international versions, it looked like you chose the original version~~ But I could be wrong, don't hate me~ T.T

I agree with you on it being underrated, at the same time though there wasn't much appeal to this game beyond ZOMG THE CHARACTERS HAVE VOICES I CAN HEAR. It wasn't that innovative, just a different way of acquiring skills on set paths, and improved graphics and battle system. In almost every FF there are classes, sometimes you can choose the class your character is, but in this it's pretty much on a fixed path (except for our blue furry friend), so not THAT perfect, imo. The story was awesome.

@Kikikinglord No, 10 was definitely not really good. If you actually pay attention when you're playing it, it makes no sense. So Jecht went back in time to destroy Zanarkand and transport Tidus to Spira? So I guess that whole war between Bevelle and Zanarkand that happened a thousand years ago couldn't have possibly happened because Zanarkand was destroyed before that war by Jech as Sin, considering Tidus had no idea of the war itself. The plot hardly holds itself together.

@JesterMereel No you did not understand the game. I played 10 when it came out. I played X-2 when it came out.  Zanderkand was destroyed, the X-2 story of Zanderkan is the true Zanderkan, there was war and fighting, ok, this led to sin coming and being created and thus zanderkand was destroyed. Summoners existed before sin and were used for for war.... Zanderkand led it's downfall, Zanderkand in Yuna's world one thousand years ago was the real one.

@JesterMereel After it was destroyed, the faythe and most the people trapped in the walls of zanderkand became spirits and decided to make a new zanderkand, that existed basically this s a dream world zanderkand the that faythe and people associated with sin and the war of zanderkand decided to make.... this was tidus zanderkan. This zanderkand was created by the dead people of zanderkan. Basically it is a dream world. Jecht got sucked up by sin, who traveled to his zanderkand.

@JesterMereel this is where Jecht found out about te real zanderkand and what happened one thousand years ago, which if you payed attention, and played x-2 you would understand. So jecht went back to this zanderkand and picke dup tidus and auroon, to end it once and for all. After sin was defeated the faythe no longer were stuck like this and could finally die and be free in the farplane, (heaven). They dreamed up tidus zanderkand, when they died, tidus would die too.

@JesterMereel Basicallly this is what happened, when zanderkand was at war and led to the creation of sin and got it's self destroyed, the faythe and people frozen in time for ever sleeping made a new dream world zanderkand where it happened, think of it as another dimension. Time went by after that normally, so tidus world would have been exactly one thousand years old. but of course he is not one thousand years old... people aged and gave birth etc... so tidus zandrrkand is another dimension

@JesterMereel SORRTy for being rude before, but you should really pay attention to a game, before saying it is bad. 1,2,3,6 9, and X were the best final fantasies. 7 was trash even though I played it, VIII was super trash also. final fantasy completely chanfgged after 9 X,X-2 were ok (10 needed a good ending). After this it went to crap. X has a good story and is one of the best.

@Kikikinglord I've played the game several times, and I am actually playing it through again to confirm my statements, which so far (I'm halfway) have been confirmed. VII and VIII were great, I enjoyed them very much. But X-2 was absolute garbage and X (except for the battle system) was tedious and annoying. IX was amazing I still love replaying.

@JesterMereel VIII was garbage X and X-2 were better than it, they had to make X-2 because the way the game ended left for another story. It was a good story why would they make a sequel, if you were a true fan of the series you would really play them all, and not hate them so much. VII and VIII were not garbage, I am going to use another term. they to me were for one VII was over rated and VIII I have no comment I played them all though. after X,X-2 it feel to trash.

@JesterMereel Again, zanderkand Tdus Zanderkand was not the real zanderkand, if you play through X-2 you will see what happened to Zanderkand one thousand years ago, tidus was not there one thousand years ago. There was a summoner who looked like yuna, and her love who was the real tidus of Spira from zanderkand one thousand years ago. After the destruction of this zanderkand, and the wars, and the destruction by sin, the faythe and the people of zanderkand dreamt up a copy of zanderkand.

@Kikikinglord whole point at the end of FFX international there is the special sphere they found, and it had shuyin in it so the thought it was tidus. This was concerning the war one thousand years ago in zanderkand and what it really was like. If tidus came from the same zanderkand one thousand years ago!!!! where was this war? sin just came and sucked him out from his world and that was it, they fayth told him his world was dreamed up after that fall of the first one.

Sorry I'm not gonna answer anything you've said, it's riddled with assumptions as to why I don't like either game and the fact that you have to hold up the story by explain alternate realities is already making me yawn. And I said I was replaying X, not X-2, nothing would make me play that garbage again, and it had nothing to do with the fact that it was an all female cast. I hae a photograhic memory I hardly forget anything ok? and yuna's zandarkand 1k years ago was shown in X-2 and the game needed X-2 to complete it and it did not suck, it was not that bad. VIII was trash again, but I beat it VII only has vincent too. Tidus zanderkand is not the same as the one that was destoryed in yuna's world period. it was another one

@JesterMereel he faythe and dead people of zanderkand and from the past dreamt it up, when they killed sin the wall with people dissapeared and could not sustain tisu zanderkand anymore, tidus was basically part of a dreamt up world so he would die with the faythes anyway. Either a) you are not playing it, b you are not playing and c. you are not playing it but making it look that way to look smart. those games have stories in them play part 1 and play part two and look at them

Zanderkand was dreamed up, afert the first oe got destoryed thanks to sin and the summoner war which created and caused sin. There was a summoner war, zanderkand liked to have wars, and stuff like that all over spira it gave birth to sin.

It's not Tidus. The narration I referred to was actually during the game sequence, when Tidus was heading towards Zanarkand Dome for the Blitzball game.

It is underrated, but I'm not going so far to say as it being the best. It's definently very epic, but I still perfer the older FFs, like I, III, IV, and VI. X does have, like I said before, a very epic storyline, though, and is one of the best modern FF games ever, especially compared to XI and XII.

In most international versions, there are more bosses, new cutscenes, new items... All that stuff. Take the Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts games for example.

one of my first games for PS2 and it ruled just away =) the music is just great and the game overall as well...just gets a little hard when you first dont know how to skill your charas^^ and theres no real happy end :( but takes over 60 hours to finisch great game for your money :)
