  • Were and how do you find the tour guide in Sapa?? Is she at a local school or what. Thanks!

  • @toumn09 She is not from the school. Lan has a baby now and lives with he husband Dsom jn Sapa in the Cat cat village. She works alot in the rice fields now but still is a guide and her husband is too. If you ask around and get Lan to be your guide you will be very lucky as she is like a Herbal Doctor and will give you a lesson on every plant along the way to cure all kinds of things. Also ask for Khu, sister of Ah and Aye and mother of Meto and Mong. She too is a great guide and friend.

  • Beauty, intelligence, and talent; I say she's perfecttt

  • ero...lolicon >_>

    xD

  • Wonderful! What village or region are these Hmong citizens located? I did not know they could speak English so well!

  • Lan is Black Hmong from Sapa in Northern Vietnam. Yes the boy's have trouble with english and are shy, but the girls and women run the show and work every day with tourists as guides and selling their stitching. Some girls in Sapa like Lan will speak English, French, Russian, Hmong and Vietnamese.

  • That is wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

  • holy shit thats a lot of languages thats awesome

  • @monkeymannequin man! lan knew how to speak all those languages???? wow... so... she is vietnam..? oo

  • It tickles my lips... lol... just whistling already.

  • she's so pretty!!!!

  • Where is this? Nice song and place.

  • Laos

  • Thanks.

  • omfg how the fawk is it posible i out of 52 vids i cant find how to do this dam thing

  • its really simple just stretch it with your fingers and put it loosely between your lips and blow

  • well you you use the lighter side of the leaf to blow on , then place pressure between both of your middle fngers and ur thumbs like ur gonna snapp ur finger but dont, use the bottom part of the leaf, and use both ur index finger to fold the leaf over ur thumb to mae the leaf have one area poking out thats where u blow,i wish i had a camera so i could show u but sadly i do not

  • Its hella easy... its like blowing on 2 edges of a piece of paper.

  • the hmong rules... leaf blowing is our specialties

  • What type of leaf does she use?

  • u could do it with any kind of leaves, you just have to have skills

  • I thought the leaf song thingy was played when you're sad or want a wife. LOL idk..

  • i dont understand the song but my parents do i wasnt raise back n laos or thailand or whatever btw i dont no if any of you guys no but my parents often tell me when you play songs with leaf out in the wilderness by yourself n you get a response it can be a ghost

  • sometimes they blow the leaf to tell a story about their life..or to find someone.

  • im vietnamese, i wish she is my future wife, becuz her english is impressive, good musician, & very pretty :D

  • wish there's a tutorial or something for that lol

  • its pretty good but it be nice if she can actually tell a story with the leaf song.

  • She is telling a story

  • LOL...listening it to the second time u are rite, cus first time it didn't seem like it.

  • Holly Shit, i like that! she got some skills :), i wanna learn it myself; my dad tough me but i didnt really get it hahaahah..

  • where can I learn to do that?

  • i've tried with banana leaf, but i sucked. i couldn't even make the teeniest squeak out of it.

  • ?i dont get it.

  • Theres nothing for you to get.

  • Sorry I've been a way for a bit Lan. You are still the best. And CUTTIEST!!!

  • monkeymannequin, how come the video of "LAN" titled "Sapa, Black Hmong sings over her village valley2005" got removed?

  • Sorry, If you read the new longer video of her you will see. By mistake I pushed the remove video underneath the video icon. and then pushed OK on the next pop up without reading it. I know stupid ya? That's what happens late at night when I'm not thinking, and it's not the first time. She was getting so many good reviews too. believe me I was upset as well. So if you look, i put up a longer video of her. Sorry

  • good job on thE leaf ./.

  • She looks like my cousin...:)

  • leaf singing is a tradition in hmong culture.. my parents used to love singing using leaf...
