  • how often should I change my guitar strings?

  • Thanks for the videos. It really helped me learn how to tie my strings for the first time. Good job

  • thankyou

  • thanks

  • Quick question: why would you bother feeding almost the entire string through the hole (getting it dirtier in the process) if you only have to feed one inch of it through when you do it from the other direction? Is yours just poor technique or am I missing something? Thanks.

  • it should be

  • yes

  • bought my first classical guitar and this helped a lot. D'Addario Pro Arte's rule!

  • Thanks man, I have been playing guitar for a while, but never classical and with my recent purchase of one this video was nice, informative and candid for my first time restringing it.

  • Likewise... thanks to the guy in blue shirt.

  • I just bought a classical guitar ,it has no strings on it and it has 12 holes in the bridge, ie 6 double holes. what do you do with that?

  • That is called a twelve string guitar. They usually use steel strings, so you won't need to deal with the whole knot tying.

  • No, I know what a twelve string is :).

It is a regular classical otherwise and has 6 tuners. I found a tutorial on how to do it now, it's unusual but works well.

You put it through one hole back over the top and through the other hole then under the string and tighten , No looping round the string needed ,though you have to knot the top three strings and double knot the e string at the back to prevent slipping

  • you have a 12 string guitar then

  • its a 12 string guitar.

  • @thedarkness125 . No it's a 6 string classical.

Some makers do put 12 hole bridges on them

  • thxs so much i did it all by my self it took me a while but i got it thx!!!

    u rock!

  • I've been playing for 20+ years, and STILL, I found this video quite informative!

    WELL DONE!
