It's quite odd that the crew of the Enterprise's personality is the opposite in this particular Parallel universe,but the change of universes had no effect on the Halkans peaceful nature. it is amazing that the Enterprise transporter was able to change the clothing of the good Capt.Kirk and crew. Doesn't the emblem of the empire resemble the symbol of the terrorist organization "Chaos" on "Get Smart"? 24th Century medicine is incredible that Spock can go from near death to fitness so fast.

Some observations:

1. Great acting by George Takei as Sulu, almost believable as a hetrosexual, the way he lusted for Uhura (Man, was she smoking hot or what!). Probably the only time in his life he's touched a female.

2. Don't mess with bearded Spock. He's one bad mother.

3. Does Shatner have to get laid in every freaking episode? He's worse than Bob Crane.

4. Kirk's concubine was hotter at the end, in that short blue skirt, great gams in black pantyhose. Talk about wanting to rub one out!

I never got why Humans/Terrans were reversed in this universe, but everyone else wasn't. Klingons are still war crazed, Romulans are still slimy, and the dot heads in this episode are still hippies. What kind of a Mirror Universe is that?

@WingZeroAlpha What I gathered from this episode is that the characters of the M.U. are basically the same as the ones from the regular universe, except in how they choose to act (seen in how Kirk and company are able to fool everyone for so long). The people's personalities haven't changed at all, only how they act on their personalities. (Kirk uses his drive and ambition to become a power hungry psycho, Spock uses his intellect and logic to scare the shit out of everyone around him, etc.)

This Episode should have had a Surprise Sequel episode in the 3rd Season. Barbara Luna was gorgeous. She turned me from liking Blonds, Barbara Eden and Marta Kristen could make me fall over and not realise it. A Sequel episode to Mirror. Mirror could have again been a " Bottle Show" set only aboard the Enterprise and maybe another ship. The other Spock was interesting. Either he had the other Kirk Killed or convinced him to transfer to a Higher Class of Ship so he could return at some point.
