Bruno and Bruiser were known as Annihilation Inc. They defeated Raschke/Ladd for the WWA (Indianapolis) World Tag Team Titles in Detroit on July 21, 1973. This was during Pedro Morales' WWWF World Heavyweight Title reign (the title that CM Punk holds today.)

Ernie Ladd repeatedly visited the then wwwf and was a huge money maker. When Jimmy valiant came to the then wwwf, Ladd eventually became a tag partner but all told these two were some of the best of the best talent the North east ever saw at any time. The tag team known as the valiant brothers was so awesome they had to bring third "Valiant" brother to keep up the interest when I think Jimmy had an injury...and THOSE were the days coming and going!

It was both AWA and WWA. The AWA and WWA shared talent in Chicago, it was an odd arrangement, Dick the Bruiser and Verne Gagne were partners in Chicago so they used talent from both their promotions.

At this time Chicago was WWA and AWA. Bruno never appeared in the AWA.

Wrong! These were at the International Amphitheatre. This was AWA, owned by Dick The Bruiser, Vern Gagne, and Wilbur Snyder. The WWA was Indianapolis and area. The State of Illinois licensed these matches. I am a Promoter who was licensed, so trust me.
