It's reality.Children most certainly do have an idea about bombs and other means of killing.

your term killing.children should be taught to love. if children aren't taught to hate they see no differences in color of skin or ethnic backgrounds.you could put 100 children of diverse backgrounds that haven't been taught to hate in a schoolyard, they will play together and have fun.

Idealistically speaking that's wonderful&noble,but acknowledging differences is not the equivalent of hate. It's been my experience in taking care of children that they will absorb what they are capable of.If a child asks a question they deserve an honest,age appropriate answer.With all the wars&genocides currently happening in the world,many children have fears&questions.

If adults would stop the insane,irrational and inhumane things they do,children would keep their innocence.

I know a clergyman who protested these nukes before it was fashionable or cool to do so.When asked why he,a Father kept risking jail time,he said"I didn't bring these children in the world for someone to blow them ".

His children were quite normal with magical childhoods.Yet they knew the danger right next door to them. Children can handle the truth.And the truth is that these weapons of mass destruction are a threat to their futures.

The idea of keeping things from children is a very new one, mostly brought about by the romantics, so Wordsworth, Coleridge and the likes. Whilst it's a nice concept, the modern idea of childhood is close to overprotection. Don't forget, until a couple of centuries ago, thousands of generations of children grew up without this concept, and if it was so necessary, we wouldn't now be here to discuss it.

In the early 70zz Actor Donald Southerland Did the very same style of Commercial.

He droped 1 BB saying this equals all the bombs used from the 1st and second WW.
