hi, your horse looks really lush what breed? can i ask, what did you think the sj and xc courses - are they technical much cos im considering doing it as my first or second PN and i dont really mind height but im not super great on really technical fences? doesnt look too bad from the vid but obvs there are some fences that you didnt get on camera. thanks xxx
Looks like a nice test :) and i dont like coloureds:) .... I havent rode pre novice for a very long time, What heights are they competing atnow? I have a mare im bringing back into work.. Thanks
I agree with the earlier comment, meet many judges with a 'cob-type' problem? I have a TB and I swear some just go its good for racing and nothing else!! When you gonna tackle a novice? They really are not that bad I am in my first year eventing and was suppossed to be doing intro, doing my first intermediate next week! lol Do it, looks like your horse could easily do one!
thank you. won't be doing a novice now i shouldn't think - i'm at uni and pepper's at home teaching my little sister to ride. but yeah, judges are so random. he's like marmite i swear, some love him & some hate him, but i suppose it's like that for everyone..
well done on progressing so far! how did your Int go? x
do you find thatsometimes with the dressage uget marked waylower than what your expecting because the judge doesnt like cobby types? my friend still finds that even with BD and BE.
Wow I love your horse! He has sucha nice pop lol i used to have a cob exactly alike to yours but chestnut but whenever he got into the ring he got stage fright and got all nervous :/ lol well i thought you rode really well - well done!
wow really nice horse!!! he is braver then mine XC!! and way better at Dressage!!!
u looked like i used to in my SJ my trainner suggested i stayed in half seat a little longer so that my horse had more room to jump the fence rather than find me sitting on top of him when he tried to flick his back end up! maybe that woudl help your keep his flow in the SJ but obviously i dont know how he is to ride so just a suggestion....
yeah thanks - really need to correct my position in the SJ - he used to be really difficult in the SJ & take off on landing, hence why I sit up quickly, but i totally agree - i'm working on it :D
cool
