  • Very nice lightning. well done!!!

  • @pingtang666 Glad you enjoyed! This was a great storm! Looking forward to chasing along the Jersey Shore again next summer

  • Wow. The last part on the beach was awesome, especially the first lightning strike that produced that loud thunder clap. You should do more of these.

  • @trueblu8 got a bunch of weather videos posted on my channel but yes, would LOVE to do more beach storm videos! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed!

  • This is positively the most amazing thing I have ever seen. One day I'll be able to shoot some photos of lightning like this.

  • @PsychoticFairy333 So glad you enjoyed my video! Thanks so much for watching. Hopefully you'll get the opportunity soon to shoot some lightning for yourself :)

  • Fantastic Video Pal. Im a Storm Chaser myself, However being an Aussie Chaser, I mainly Chase lightning. Check out "Supercellwish" that's where my best videos are. i have started a new account now, which has only one chase video so far, and while there is some reasonable Lightning strikes in it, non of them compare to my older videos and more over they dont compare to your Video here. Ill check your others. The only thing i would ask from you is to make Slow Mo available for the best strikes.

  • @SupercellKid Thanks so much for watching! And yep, on occasion I do slow down the best lightning strikes, didn't do that here though. I'll def check out your page and thanks again for checking out mine!

  • yeah yo that was off the chain make more vids

  • @ARADG15 Hey thanks for watching! Got a ton of weather videos on my channel, check em' out when you get the chance

  • Ground: Clear for lightning 2,1,8 niner niner.

Mother nature/Clouds/Power: Fuck the ground, Lets get the motha fuckin ocean nigga!!!!

  • Fantastic view from the beach.

  • There's one just like the last one going on right now. It's beyond amazing to see it happen before your eyes. God is sure a master in his creation!

  • Love it. Awesome. It's cool how the lightning forms. It's so cool

  • @pepsidrink19 Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!!

  • very gooood!

  • Woweee..Scott....love that closeby CG right over the water and huge thunderclap..and awesome on the time-lapsed videos too. BTW..Scott...exactly 25 years ago today, 8/7/86...Providence RI was hit by a major tornado....major damage done..and same day..in Port Washington LINY..I was outside in a Tstorm-free zone..and saw a very closeby CG and huge thunderclap..while talking to my good-looking neighbor friend..I did have my audio CTR running thus the thunderclap was taped..--cool, eh, Scott?

  • @tstormmoulton1 Glad you enjoyed the video James! Yes, in August 1986 I was still audio taping storm myself. I wish I could find some of those old tapes. Will have to look for them one day. That's great James that you have those tapes from August 7th!

  • It's difficult to photograph the flashes of lightning with the Time Lapse conditions. The following video of storm is really successful, Daniel from France.

  • @809380 Yes, it definitely is more difficult for sure. next time around I will take one still frame every 2 seconds. With this time lapse I was taking one still frame every 5 seconds. Thanks for watching!

  • I was at a restraunt in ocean grove and the lightning was frequent so I took some pictures

  • @DonkeyKong1195 Not far at all from where I was! :) Lightning was insane! Thanks for watching

  • NICE. the weather is boring hear again.

  • wow scot the 10 end bolts was very nice!! good work!

  • Some nice bolts Scott, reminds of the 'sort' of storms I get locally here too

  • @ozthunder Hoping that we get some more storms around here tomorrow! Thanks for watching!

  • Great!!!

  • Great stuff Scot. Turned the sound way up at 1.12. How come we couldn't here any more thunder after that, just lightning?......Nice one.

  • @siobhan104 Glad you enjoyed! There was plenty of thunder after that first bolt, but I edited the video for time since the thunder occurred quite a few seconds after the lightning due to the fact the storm was moving away from me. Thanks for watching!

  • I about had the hair standing up on the back of my neck watching this. lol

  • @lovethatcat2 Thanks for watching!!

  • Dang good one there at 1.12, very cool to at the beach. I seen lightning out over the pacific ocean while living in San Diego. Got a few photo shots taken from local Mnt there too..so cool when its over the ocean! Awesome capture bro! I dig it! And looove those Anvil Crawlers! Been a disappointing yr year..but got some good ones. Posting in succession after all my Wildlife videos. Will be featured on new channel. Will send ya an invite.

  • @Tstormer Love that ocean lightning, I'm definitely there with you on that one bro! Looking forward to the invite :) Have a great weekend and thanks for watching!

  • @tornadovideostock Right on! Cool, thanks man. Sure. :)

  • Epic!

  • it was sunny then rain then around 8 sky got dark then i did not see the rest here in queens

  • It's total very good storm, nice lighting strikes xD

  • @marcin67ziomal Hopefully we'll get more before the summer is over. Thanks for watching

  • I wish the video was longer. How long did the storm last anyway?

  • @tudssquadbuisness All in all I'd say about 90 minutes. We didn't start heading home until around 9:30, and the storms began rolling in around 7:30'ish

  • Let's all go jump in the ocean now!

  • @tudssquadbuisness Sounds good! lol. Thanks for watching

  • I could watch this all day! :)

  • @Brinah Glad you enjoyed it!!

  • The lightning is incredible. I didn't have a camera with me I was at tennis practice with my friend, well I was just watching him and I noticed the storm coming from the waters I was like looks like a big one. I need to get a NOAA radio. The one I have is built into my dads car and so I looked for a NOAA radio application for my friends phone, they did not have one so I went to the NOAA website and noticed there was a Tornado Watch for the New Jersey areas as there was some rotation. Great video

  • @The2Coolest2 Thanks! Glad you liked it. And yep, several warnings went out yesterday. There was a really intense storm just north of NYC in Westchester County. Could see some more storms on Monday

  • @tornadovideostock Thanks! Soon the fall is here :O We can see some good tree coloring and then winter :D What's it called when the trees change colors again? I can't spell it. Foliage?

  • You bastard! Those are sweet lightning shots. You're stealing my storms!

  • @stormhunter27 Ha ha yeah our storm season in NYC at least is not going so great either. Long Island, the lower Hudson Valley and Jersey are getting the storms.

  • wow,very nice thunderstorm.the strike at 1:14 is fantastic

  • @WeatherExtreme One of my favorite shots too! Just set up the camera literally seconds before that struck! Thanks for watching!

  • Can somebody tell me why the lightning at

1:14 seems to shift to the left?

  • @arpadpihes I noticed that as well right when it happened! Not sure exactly why, but I'm sure that there is an explanation for it. My guess would be the light being refracted off of the rain drops. It was still raining pretty good at that point. Best guess on my part

  • Looked like a very CG active storm pretty dangerous. Reminds me of being in mexico the pulse storms pretty much only had CG lightning it was pretty scary being on a beach. It even hailed at one point it hurt I only had swimming trunks on haha. there were some very very close strikes though.

  • @DjHardaFasta Yes, this storm was definitely very electrically active. I did my best to stay as protected as possible. But anytime you film lightning, there's definitely risk as you know. Sounds like you had a crazy experience on that beach! Sucks about the hail lol

  • Great vid again man, thanks for uploading :)

    Anthony

  • @boosted28 Y/W! Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend!

  • 1:14 woowww I love this close lightning strike !!!! amazing video !!

  • @pyrotechnicsXXL That one was VERY close indeed! lol. I saw it shoot right over my head and hit the water. Incredible! Thanks for watching!

  • Amazing time lapse and lighitning;)

    Great job;D

  • @11manko Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!

  • Really cool to see lightning over the ocean.

  • @StLouisStormSpotter Agreed! Love lightning, but especially over the water! Thanks for watching!

  • Lighting is beautiful, like how it starts in one place and suddenly stretches out over the entire sky.

    Nice video

  • @BlueOnRS Thanks for watching! Love lightning and this storm had plenty of it!

  • @tornadovideostock I love your vids and this part on 1:14 is my favorite lightning strike you got on tape :)

  • @lyldawhg631 Definitely one of my favorite lightning strikes caught on tape as well :)
