  • Thanks very much for uploading this. (p.s. that's Up From The South by The Budos Band over the opening titles. Fantastic)

  • Thank you so much for enabling me to see this. I had been dying to. Thanks again. What a tragic loss of a great artist.

  • every film he was in was nominated for best picture

  • Is that Dustin Hoffman at 8:26

  • @Computertrouble Nope.

  • i can't believe they just don't know? they can recite lines and they know the character but not his name? (I wouldn't be able to name all the actors either as i've only seen it once, but if you've seen it enough to know the lines and recognise the movie by just a picture..) When I saw him in Dog day afternoon, his performance was so good, it had me on the edge of the seat sweating bullets and feeling real sick because his character was so unstable and stressed.

  • must Brett Ratner ruin everything?

  • It isnt too hard to be a good actor, but John Cazale had that one thing that makes an actor great

  • Sad that most people only know him as Fredo and not know his real name was John Cazle. RIP John, you're missed!

  • @SirCubedThaRyter Since when does it matter what most people think ? People who love and respect cinematography know who John Cazale is, what a complete actor he was, and that's all that matters.

  • @luckysilviano I do care kind of, being a movie fan for as long as i can remember, it does sadden me that people know him by the breakout role he was known for and not remember him as the versatile and complete actor he truly was. I'll be honest here but acting along side Robert DeNiro, Christopher Walken and John Savage, in my opinion made The Deer Hunter and again, in my opinion, stole every scene from those guys. RIP John Cazale.

  • The Budos Band - Up From The South at 3:10

  • @CompletePinkFloyd

Sounds like a track by Fela Kuti. Don't know the title tho: it doesn't appear on any album I own

  • @papito914 It sounds like it could be Manu Dibango. But it is epic, definitely.

  • @papito914 It is UP FROM THE SOUTH by THE BUDOS BAND.

  • He was really a lot like James Dean: an extremely talented actor who died before his time and appeared in only a handful of movies. The reason he isn't more remembered is because he didn't have Dean's looks, and he didn't tap into that social feeling that Dean did. Unfortunate.

  • So many thanks to you for posting this. I always loved cazale, and I wanted to know more about him. Thank you very much!

  • i'm suprised john cazale was italien american john doesn't look at all italien john handsome big nose features of an indian

  • john cazale dying lost best actors and person sad cazale would been better than brando of character actors if john didn't die

  • @max65251 In what language are you attempting to communicate? just curious. I don't believe I've ever seen a sentence structured quite that way.

  • brillant thanks i wanted to see this john cazale was greatest actor ever

  • Is that Dustin Hoffman in the background? at 8:28
