I watch this video before I cut 90% of the time. It helps me to not cut actually. Shows me I can be strong... Definitely gives me hope. And also makes me not afraid or embarassed about the scars I already do have.
i dont aprove of self injury, i dont think people should have to or fell like they have to do it, i myself cut, but i know its wrong. however, i do think it is beautiful and our scars make us us.
i hate this.. i can't quit. it's like drug :/ i use scissors to cope the pain.. works every time. but i don't want anyone to see my scars.. it's so embarrassing. i'm tired of hiding them all the time. but mine is not white, they are red.. and some of them have been there since october :s
@yunikoon1 there are other ways then cutting to cope with the pain... try to get information in skill- and borderline-groups...
when you start to accept yourself some day, you wont have to hide the scars any more... you're most probably not as 'un-okay' as you guess... hang in there...
@crazyINloveAJ It would be better you stop as fast as possible... when you want to learn how to cope with your presure, try borderline forums, skill lists... the sooner you learn the sooner you'll be over it... wishing you the best...
@crazyINloveAJ its ok, if you think about it there are alot of people that do this they may not be in your school or state but there are more people, we arent the only ones <33
this video..wow...reminds me everyday that it takes only one little wrong move to end my life...just wow...it is triggering=/. but indeed, very, very helpful =]
We are so many.. Stay strong, guys:) Ask for help in the first place: when I did ask for help things started getting better.. slowly, that's true, but im glad I did it in the end:) Im not out of this yet, but i wont give up. Never give up!
god dammit, such a great vid :$ im so sick of everything you know.. i came out of the hospital yesterday ( to deep cut... ) today on school, gym, everybody's laughs at me, just before i saw this vid, cutting again, over and over again.. i dont want to, but i need it so. time ago i stopped for a month i was shaking and crying i needed that knife again... i hope i can ever stop. ( i have help now, but i dont know if it work )
no problem... i think you're english is absolut understandable...
when you want to stop cutting you need to try and try and try... ans belive me, its woth trying... it is hard but you can make it... i hope you'll make it...
always remember: when you stoped cutting for some weeks and you need the knife once again... its not the end of the world... keep on trying to find other alternatives... and hang in there!
sometimes i realy wanna quit, but other times it feels like cutting is the only way i can express myself like its my only thing to do, and without it im worthless..
but im gonna try again, i hope it'll work. i dont wanna hurt my parents any longer, and more importand, i dont wanna hurt myself any longer!
@Jannekee95 take your time... train everyday not to cut... use skills... learn... and with a little help, you'll get out of this... need... this addiction... this emergency escape... i know you can make it... but take your time... wishing you the very best...
Scars kick ass! Thank you for not dissing cutting.
If someone has a problem with it, then they should get help if they are inclined to do so. But it's like outlawing booze; people can indulge if they want.

Wow...A lot of people here on YouTube talk about self-injury and overcoming it, but I could never relate to them because they had done it in such a minorly physical way that they either didn't or barely had any scars to haunt them for the rest of their lives. I feel like in finding your video, I finally have someone to relate to. My scars are obvious, and ugly and impossible to mask without long sleeves. Thank you for making me feel not so alone...
A very well done video showing some of the seldom-mentioned sides of cutting/self-harm. As a person who self-injures I can identify with what you say and show. It is SO MUCH MORE than just the wound. Each scar is a victory over adversity and inner turmoil. Thanks!

its not a competition so dont make them worse on this bases! your pain is as valid as someone who's self harm is considered "worse"
