When I watched that scene and Garner is summarising the terrorism, it sent me straight back to one of those mission objective table scenes from Alias.

Plus it's also funny how her character gets involved in this because of dead loved one just like how Alias starts. Janet Myers is almost like the version of Sydney Bristow that's allowed to say 'fuck'.

This movie sucked so bad. Thx for hitting us over the head 50 times with the "We are the World" message. Sorry, but Garner's acting was so over the top. C'mon Jen, the doe-eyed tear-filled stare at the camera can't be your only tool. One other thing, the movie made it look like you can solve a major crime and get the perp in a week. Other problems, too. Believe me, I've been to Saudi Arabia and Jen wouldn't walk around there in a T-shirt and no bra.

Their Middle East counterparts, the Saudi police, are portrayed as human beings with a conscience. Most of the movie is spent developing the relationship between the American and Saudi characters not only as police professionals but as Humans! They all become friends that respect each other by the end, regardless of the differences between the two cultures, and those differences are BIG ones. Great film!
