@dominicbalabat Yup, I heard (or read) she was sick, indeed. You can tell by the audience faces...they look confused wondering, what happened to Charice's voice? She sounds tired and can't hit the high notes.

No question about Charice's ability & I love her interpretation of these big, classic, powerful ballads, but for her sake, David shld really start tapering her singing these and start singing more of her own songs. A lot of people don't even know she already released her first international album...and the whole album is great and it is a waste not to hear her sing those live on stage more often than David's old, yet big compositions.

BUT having said that....I also like for her to sing more of her songs, so people knows she just doesn't do covers. Don't you all think that she's done the cover songs long enough? @etrnlygr8tful , Don't you get it??! This is David Foster's concert & NOT Charice. These songs are David's signature songs and only Charice can sing them. Otherwise, David might have to ask both Whitney and Celine everytime...which is unrealistic. For one thing, we all know what Whitney is going through and Celine just had twins and doing her own thing. Charice will have her own concert and will sing her own song. Stop nit-picking because you did not PAY to attend this concert!

@etrnlygr8tful @etrnlygr8tful you have to be there to see why DF had her sing these classic songs.. in the audience were lots of Napa Valley wine connoisseur and art benefactors who am sure have never heard Charice sang these songs before... Unlike some of us who follow Charice vids, these are multi millionaires who watch their grapevines turn into fine wines.. This is a charity event and DFF has to cater to ppl who put in big bucks to local arts and school... Peace!

Chill guys. She's not losing her voice. I suspect there are a lot of viewer who's never been to Napa nor even know where it's located. The sound quality for a small outdoor concert compare to an indoor stadium or concert hall will definately not be as good. Furthermore, I think this is filmed pretty close to the stage, hence the speakers are distorting the sound somewhat. If you listen to the video posted by @chew0nthat1, the audio quality is much better.

@parasoul26 , She is not loosing her voice here. Have you been to Mondavi Winery in Napa, CA?? This is an intimate out-door concert and the acoustic is different as when in a concert hall . Don't expect YouTube videos to be always top quality especially from fans. If fans didn't take any videos, you would be able to witness this event. Basically what I'm saying is get the bigger picture before you make a comment...I mean...use your common sense.

@parasoul26 It's not her voice or whether she's sick/healthy. It's the fan's location. @titamoh confirmed that she's close to the loudspeakers. Even w/o Charice singing, you can hear the drums distorted. If @titamoh was even closer, the piano would have been fully distorted as well. This has happened with some fans' video in NJ; it's not the 1st time. DF at 3:28 is distorted. I don't know if you have attended a live concert but sitting like a foot to the loudspeakers is unhealthy. HTH

@parasoul26 As far as her voice, she hit the high notes and slayed them once more. If your ear can isolate the distortions, she hits the middle sounds. Distortions occur in the low registers frequently as she puts body and volume to those sounds. There are times when the middle and high registers are distorted and that's due to her putting so much body and volume to those sounds as well.
