  • I'm not quite ready to vote commie yet. Send me some tax payer dollars

and I will throw my soul to Satan and pull the lever.

  • personally I have had months where I had to choose which bills to pay.

  • The point is the opportunity to correct our deficit spending does not come around often. No politician wants to be the first to make a real cut because they face losing funding for reelection. Using the debt ceiling to force the issue is a tool to in fact to pay our bills. Like it or not we are approaching a point where we will have no ability to pay our bills, reducing our debt and reining in deficit spending now will allow us to pay our bills long term.

  • I can't believe how stupid all you fucktards are on youtube. You little insignificant jobless, hopeless cowards that jack-off to chris "droolmouth" matthews talking over people that are smarter than him. The left claims to be open minded, but are among the most closed minded, and moronic bunch of idiots the world has to offer.

  • @critter505 listen to yourself preaching about 'insignificant jobless, hopeless cowards....fucktards' -- how successful can you be when you talk like that without even making a salient point?

  • Matt Kibbe is retarded...actually Chris' comments are dead on....you can't not pay your bills and be considered creditworthy it is at least a partial default. Tea Party is uneducated ideological scum...

  • @ADD112 You are coming across as the uneducated scum with every word you type. You fucking moron, you're idea is to tax the heel out of the rich despite the fact that 1: it would kill the economy, 2: it will NEVER reduce the debt! You fucking tea party haters are about the most ignorant group of people the world has ever shat out.

  • @critter505 spoken like a true tea-baggin' champ...when did i say tax the heel out of the rich? also, where is the evidence of your statement on revenues and debt? it is actually the opposite of what you think (at least in the past 30 years of history)....

  • @ADD112 It's called simple math moron. If our country has a GDP of 4.7 trillion dollars, and out national debt is 14.5 trillion, how will taxing ever be enough to pay for our debt? The answer is you can't, and the whole time you are trying to pay back our debt and restore our credit rating, (yes the US has a credit rating), you will be accruing more debt. So tell me genius, how can raising taxes help the economy? It's like talking to children on youtube sometimes.....

  • @critter505 US has a GDP of ~$14Tn...also, 'net debt' held by the public (ignoring what Fed owns, etc) is more like ~$10Tn....I am well aware of the US sovereign credit rating notched down one-level by S*P (with Moody's and Fitch affirming) but it was ironically more on politics than actual market dynamics. To be sure, 10Y yields had plummeted following that announcement and traded sub 2% much of the back-half of 3Q'11. I won't name-call your ignorance but it is ironic based on your comments :)

  • @ADD112 OMG, *facepalm, stop copying wikipedia and use a little common sense for a change. The yearly, YEARLY GDP of the US is 4.7 trillion, That is money being earned, not money being taxed. We are speaking of taxable measures here, hence the comments made by me and others like me, "you cannot tax your way out of debt". "I won't name call your ignorance", then I won't name call your poor use of internet resources. Please, before you get further in over your head, do a little actual research.

  • @critter505 Your comments make no sense. The US GDP in 2010 (current dollars) is $14.5Tn and $13.1Tn chain weighted (2005). Not sure if this matches 'Wiki" but it is what matches the BEA. It also ties in to any Reuters terminal or Bloomberg Terminal (type in ECO GO) which I am sure you wouldn't have access to. You said the US has a 'GDP' of $4.7Tn (wrong) and national debt of $14.5Tn (while kinda true, not what we'd actually owe). GDP = C+I+G+X so when you cut G significantly it is a drag...

  • @critter505 also 'taxing' your way out of the debt and deficit isn't the answer -- it is only part of it -- with meaningful restructuring of entitlements and military spending.

  • @ADD112 OMG man, you're still not reading/listening! Are you fucking stupid?! When you look at every time taxes have been raised, even slightly throughout the course of American history, the economy suffered. The only way to reduce debt, (yes the 14 trillion is our debt), is to reduce spending. And, why would taxing even a little more ever completely reduce it? That just doesn't make any financial sense! That's what's funny about people like you, despite all evidence to the contrary, you....

  • @ADD112 ...will always claim raising taxes will help the economy. Not to mention the belief that growing the government to astronomical levels will somehow provide more fairness for the public. This is idiocy at it's finest. You sound like the type of person who has never had to make a payroll, or a budget, maybe you have a degree in philosophy and have huge student loan debt and think you shouldn't have to pay it back. Who the hell knows, but what I can tell about you is you don't understand..

  • @ADD112 ...how money works, and probably think having a strict and complicated tax code is good for small business. Hence, you have no idea what you are talking about. Try to start a small business under the current tax situation then get back at me when your business fails while thinking you can run a business that way.

  • @critter505 dude you've completely changed the topic--you've been dead wrong on 'defining' GDP, keep talking about things I haven't said or even alluded to (in short, just making stuff up) regarding 'money' or 'taxation' -- PS the 1990s? you don't sound like someone who makes a pay-stub let alone a payroll. your answer to everything is 'fucking stupid' but you don't even come off even the slightest bit informed or educated...any way, you can keep yelling, the 'Ron Paul' Tea Party is dead anyway

  • Chris is a TOOL

  • Oh silly, silly Chris! You lose your cool and act like a complete tool as usual. He lost the argument when he made the same point conservatives have been using. He said something like "if you and I don't pay our bills we go into default". Great point you idiot! It should be the same way with the government. If the average person spends beyond their means and doesn't have the money to pay for it they go to jail but the government just spends and spends with no consequences. Its treasonous!

  • Is Matthews suggesting that every obligation of the federal gov't has to be paid? None of it is wasteful or optional? The federal gov't spends lots of money that is not absolutely necessary. That's the stuff that could be cut. For example, the War on Drugs costs $40 billion/year. It also fails every year to end drug use. It is an expensive waste. That is just one of many wasteful programs.

  • I wish that Kibbe had explained something to Matthews when he claimed that the tea party wanted the gov't to not pay its bills. Kibbed suggested that we make interest payments, but stop other spending. We don't have to pay every bill. We can cancel some spending. If you could not make your mortgage payment, would you continue to pay for your cable and cellphone bills? Not if you could cancel them. You can live w/out cable and cell, but cannot live w/out a house. Prioritize and cut spending.

  • @milkchaser That's basically what he was trying to say, but he is an intelligent and civilized guy, and chris "droolmouth blowhard" matthews is a loudmouth moron that talks over his guests.

  • I support FreedomWorks. I don't think Matthews got the better of him. And besides, what is the alternative? Continuing to run up massive debt?

Democrats remind me of the people at the party at 2am when the beer runs out and instead of taking that as a cue to go home and get some sleep.

  • an left wingers aren't extreme? PULEASE!

  • matt Kibbe is an absolute MORON. These types of people make me SO angry. They are absolutely destroying the United States, using the Hoover plan (aka you trust the rich companies to take care of jobs). THEY WILL NEVER DO IT. Michelle Bachman wants to do the same thing. It's sickening. It will TRULY destroy the US economy. I will PLEAD with Canada to take me in if Bachman, Palin, or any of the tea part wins the presidential election. I feel bad for those who would vote for these people.

  • We need a constitutional amendment against those fucking porkchop sideburns Kibbles and Bits wears. What an annoying fuck he is, walking around with Dik Armie's cock in his ass all day. Where the hell did he come from anyway??

  • Feckin' Boehner. Couldn't manage his own party and allowed creation of these wackos. Well done. How one inept politician threatened world economy.

  • HAHA did Mathews apologize to this guy after we got downgraded? I like Mathews sometimes but he is out of line acting like he knows more about economics than Kibbe. Its at the point where no sane financial institution can back the economic policies of Bush and Obama, which are virtually the same and no dems seem to be realizing. Ron Paul is your only hope people, take an economics class please Chris.

  • @bosshog7169 He does know more than Kibbe when it comes to finance... Ron Paul is better when it comes to income but Ron Paul does NOT represent the teabaggers... he never will. Ron Paul doesn't really relate to his own son when it comes to that bs. It's SO simple. The wealthy pays their taxes. If the wealthy gets too rich, they pay MORE tax (there's a reason why we USED to have rules agains MONOPOLIES (no, not the boardgame)). The middle class is being destroyed and the corps are laughing

  • @bosshog7169 LOL Matt's proposal was to do NOTHING until there is a balanced budget. Our downgrade would have been significantly worse along those routes. I'm not happy that there were not enough cuts, but at least we are not defaulting on anything, not even partial bills, especially not medicare and social security for our old and sick.

  • @adknerr

We wouldn't have defaulted. Most likely we would have printed more pieces of paper money to pay our debt, causing inflation to rise and the banks to lose money on the ridiculous debt market they have created. As these banks can't allow that to happen, they have bought most of our politicians. I don't see a difference between Obama and Bush on this important issue. Ron Paul seems to be one of the only people immune to this bribery, thus I vote for him.

  • @bosshog7169 As I'm from CA, I've only been able to vote for Ron Paul in the primary, and I've always been let down by the powers that be within the GOP. However, as you said, the banks would not allow us to print this amount of money, therefore if the debt limit was not passed and/or increased tax revenues found and/or fairly balanced deep spending cuts across the board were made then the US would have defaulted. Even if I'm wrong here, Matt didnt explain himself as simply as you did. He fails.

  • @Xialinn lol

  • I think he is really focused on the election in November, How do you confuse Nov. with August. What a piece of shit.

  • He owed that guy. He didn't know wtf to say. Sit down, shut up and while I am on a roll go trim your sideburns ya dumb fucking asshole!

  • I'm not a huge fan of Chris, but he blew that guy out of the water. Teabaggers are usually loud and vocal with their slogans & talking points, but this guy was MOSTLY silent.

  • Matthews crushes this piece of shit talibagger blowhard.

  • 28-32 tea party vote

  • Yea that's y government didn't pay 4 thousand workers in 5 weeks so they sent them home. According to CNN so Wats your answer to that, not paying there bills

  • 1st of all social security should not be on the table we pay into That Matthews

  • HERE IS WHERE MATHEWS IS WRONG!

The US must pay it's bills, but she's an employer as well as a debtor. In an emergency every employer may be faced with at least a temporary furlough of some workers. That's not the same as defaulting on a debt. We've had temporary shutdowns in the past with employee furloughs, the threat of default was absolute fiction.

out of our $200 BN monthly income we could have paid the $20 BN debt service, soc sec, mil wages and pensions, and had $80 BN left.

  • its the language of "family values" and this guy with the sideburns promotes disaster...

  • The sideburn guy was on Bill Maher not long ago! He made my face hurt then as well! These Tea Types have no answers! Their answers have already been proven as flawed logic! Tax Cuts for their elite masters, which they love, hasn't solved shit, and it hasn't produced any jobs, period! Maher described their mentality best! Their not working class, and none of them are poor! They're merely all temporarily embarrassed millionaires! SMH

  • This is why most neocons and republicans won't go on Matthews' show. They know their bullshit will be called out and they'll look like morons.

  • Mathews ripped that guy a new one!

  • Chris Matthews attack style is so transparent. How is he being political when he answers "Yes, I'd vote against it."

he's just waiting to pounce on this demure guy with his conservative view point of cutting on spending.

  • Chris Mathews is THE BUSINESS!

  • The title of this video should be "Chris Matthews Rapes Mentally Challenged Man"

  • I can only think he's never had to worry about whether he can pay all his bills.

  • It's hard to concentrate on what he's saying because I'm so distracted by his sideburns.

  • Superb crushing of this vile right wing nutbag. Sweet.

If only Obama would crush these vermin in a a similar manner. He should be washing them off his shoes like so much dog shit.

  • Freedomworks is a FRONT GROUP for the BILLIONAIRE Koch brothers! WAKE UP TEA PARTY RANK-AND-FILERS!!

  • I think he almost cried @ 6:10. You can see in his eyes, him realizing the hypocrisy in his own mind. Too bad he'll go home, and one of his teabagger friends will put some stupid false-equivalency logical fallacy spin to convince he he didn't get PWNED!!!

  • That Teabagger either doesn't understand Matthews' metaphor or is intentionally skirting it.

  • if only matthews was this much of a badass when it came to the punk ass politicians on his show.

  • This is perhaps the greatest damning of the policies of the right wingers today. Republicans are all Teabaggers today and they all lost a very simple logic based discussion in this video. Their policies are WRNG FOR THEM and wrong for America.

  • @boredjoewo - absolutely - they are willing to rant their ideology and wear their 'placards' (as Chris said), but when it comes to the nuts and bolts of actually running the government, they don't have a response. The problem with them is they don't care that their ideology affects real people with real problems.

And finally-and this is my biggest pet peeve-is that these MF's had better never say that they are Christian - they couldn't be further from the tenets of Christianity if they tried.

  • dude you just got your ass ripped out on national TV. have a beer and find a new career. one where understanding global finance isn't necessary

  • Progressives don't have the money that conservatives have.

A truth from The Matrix: What does a person with power want? More power.

  • These teabaggers are idiots. The nation's credit rating now has the chance of being lowered. Medicare has a good chance of being slashed as part of the cuts. And our economic recovery, slow as it is, is now going to become that much slower. We progressives need to get and show these fucktards that we are no longer willing to compromise with them. Screw the Tea Party.

  • @squizzbutt I agree with you that there is hypocrisy on both sides. The difference here is that in 2006 Harry Reid and Barack Obama simply voted against raising the debt ceiling. In 2011 the Republicans prevented a vote on the debt ceiling from coming to the floor for over two months, risking default in order to get what they wanted. Reid and Obama didn't even come close to that in 2006.

  • @mrquiet2009 Agreed, AND Obama has since apologized and attributed that vote to "mistake of a young freshman senator."

  • The teabaggers have no idea what the debt ceiling is, no idea how it works, because of idiotic lies and propaganda from this weird-ass little fucker. seriously, who has sideburns like that?

  • I heard this guy got a seasons pass to Marcus Bachmann's 'anti' gay sex clinic.

  • From 4:15 on.... Chris owns this dude. And Chris, really, doesn't do a whole lot of owning.

BTW, that dude's chops gave everyone a hell of a laugh on Bill Maher this last weekend.

  • The Tea Party is not concerned with the citizens of this country and their money that rightfully belongs to them. As long as there is money to pay the interest on the debt...not the whole thing...and their tax cuts for the rich. They can care less.

  • When Chris is good he's very good. That was an artful smack down.

  • ...he sure wants to make sure that the Banksters get their Usury Blood money... to heck with the other Govt programs...

  • ...anybody else see that Kibbe guy shape-shifting ???... his Reptilian is showing...

  • ...the Tea Party wants Blood !...

  • Chris beat him like an uncontent pimp!

  • Good for Mathews ,exposing the utter lack of thinking from the Tea Party ,they are only interested in Right-Wing Dogma!

  • Families gotta make tough decisions because the top 1% own everything.

  • Atta boy Chris. Kibbe's a bag boy for the Koch Bros, an empty shell, a store front with nothing to sell.

  • Lmao. Wow.

  • That was a weird rape scene

  • DAMN.

  • Why do they always film these rightwing pricks sitting in front of books they haven't read? I mean what are they anyway ....multiple copies of the Old Testament and Atlas Shrugged? Probably multiple copies of Dick and Jane.

  • @seamoremonster - Hahahaha! You know what, you're right. I remember seeing this background being used for plenty of other teabaggers.

  • @FixedNewsChannel fox new does the same stupid hyperbole of liberals in their selection of guests. and here a liberal is playing a victim as aggressor all the same. hyperboles exist on msnbc and fox.

  • @seamoremonster LOL'd

  • @seamoremonster In the book of Leviticus it says that after seven years all mortgages are automatically forgiven. So does the tea party pick and chose which part of the Bible to follow? And Ayn Rand, the author of the FICTION, Atlas Shrugged, died living on Social Security and government provided healthcare.

  • @seamoremonster looking at this guy, probably a few copies of "boy's life" hidden in those phony book.

  • @seamoremonster i bet its just a picture they roll up and ship from bagger to bagger.

  • @seamoremonster . We're in trouble because of people like YOU, and your stupid attitude. Chris Matthews is typical left wing idiot, seems like one of your favorites...

  • Respond to this video... Chris Matthews is a sick human being...

  • "Freedom Works" - probably the most ironically and cynically named group in the United States of America.

  • America will default no matter what. Raising the debt ceiling only will only bring a short delay, and will raise the water level of a breaking damn. And we'll continue patching the cracks with dollar paper mache until that damn collapses, and everyone at the bottom will be crushed.

  • chris mathew rocks!!!

  • This is the calmest I've seen Chris Matthews. He's really letting Kibbe hang himself and not interrupting.

  • @Bigcatgirl yes not knowing enough about the economy and bringing the world to the edge of another great depression for political gain ---- that's who we should follow (did you get the sacrasm there?).

The TEA (FOX NEWS) Party are just corporate funded and sponsored morons that accept the mantra and dogman reguardless of the facts and reality.

Politicans all tell lies. Tea party politicians BELIEVE the lies they tell.

  • Taking abstracts ideas to economics makes for good TV, sure, but it's truly a pity to see kooky Tea Party nuttiness be desperately adopted by Republicans to beat down Democrats and try to PR their way to power with.

So little of the right-wing talking points these days are based on anything close to facts, or substantive policy-making. It's all tribalist emotion-bating. At least some old school conservatives used to have a sense of honour and idealism.

It's gonna be a brutal decade.

  • @Bigcatgirl

Go back to the kids table.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, SHIT, SON!!!!!!

  • Ouch...

  • Kibbe's crackpot assertions are every bit as ridiculous as his sideburns.

  • @RedTory59 - I thought so too - he looks like a dick; like a Fonzi wannabe.

  • Why the fuck are there so many right wing nut groups? The progressives need to organize against this extremism.

  • @GTR66960 I agree!!! Lets do it! The left needs a group to combat this fucktards.

  • @GTR66960 Yeah, great point - you don't have any representation to the left...asshole.

  • @GTR66960 AMEN!

  • The Tea Party is a bunch of ignorant bastards that want the country to fail all because the President is black. Stone aged mother fuckers...

  • @johnny718bravo Yeah, I forgot who, but someone said their single, most important goal was to Make Obama a one term President. That's just infighting at its worst and its exactly that selfishness that got us here to begin with.

  • @GTR66960 Republican Minority Leader Senator Mitch McConnell from Kentucky made those comments in late October 2010.

  • @miamilitantkitten Thanks for the reference:)
