  • yea and i bet those working there had no problem with going home and eating a good dinner while this baby starved, i absolutely hate people like this, they set on there arz at the shelter office eating twinkies and drinking coke and not a second thought about the babies there starving...i hope they choke on their twinkies and drown on their coke

  • @donnabuckner This is purely a memorial for Justice. This is not for bashing the staff or the volunteers...

  • my heart is breaking into a million pieces, this is an outrage.. I volunteered at the Hurricane Katrina Shelter and we got over 300 dogs and cats (mostly dogs) and we had to have 2-3 dogs per kennel and they were all adopted out Healthy, Well Fed and Beautiful...there is no excuse for this atrocity...if a small shelter can do this all under a year and while looking for donations, these shelters can do it..Sweet Justice, RIP sweet girl, your not suffering anymore..

  • My heart is broken...this is so sad. Rest in Peace, Justice.

  • You would think that someone would take action for poor sweet Justice! Thats exactly it!!!! Justice for Justice!!!!

  • I am just so sad and I feel like I've received a blow to my heart. Dear Justice, bless you sweet angel... Human beings let you down when life had already been so cruel to you. Why couldn't you have been one of the lucky ones? I will never understand our species, dogs are our best friends, why do we hurt them so badly? I have only tears.

  • Maria, It broke my heart and had me in tears the moment I saw sweet Justice's pictures. To let a dog waste away like this is unbelievably heartwrenching. It is dogs like Justice,Elle, Hope, Mimi and other dogs that have been victims of abuse that push local rescuers to make the laws stronger and get what needs to be fixed done. Sweet Justice's pictures have had the whole rescue community upset and we have made our voices heard by holding a candle light vigil this past Thursday at the shelter.

  • Thank you for sharing your heartfelt honouring of Justice.

I don't know what to say....even after being begged to do the right thing...and watch....

Rescue? Really? What meaning does the word have to some? Is rescue not the providing of love and care for another in need.

May there be a more proactive reaction to peoples begging for justice to prevail. In this case, Justice did not prevail...sadly...Justice diminished before our very eyes....

May Justice know your love compassion.

    I do <3
