I hate the transformation scenes ni this. Total shit, but the first werewolf attack was really good. The costume is pretty neat because its reminicant of the Howling, while more wolflike, but the nose looked funny and the animaitronics were bad.
Awesome review, book was good, movie bad but this made it all better. "This is Jane, she can walk, here's her brother Marty, he's a cripple." Hilarious XD
You guys should do a Shitcasecinema Hall of Fame for all those Legends like Oh my God guy, Bennet, Kurt Fucking Russel and of course the guy from this movie.
Gotta say, I read the short graphic novel this was based on and liked it. Try to imagine Stephen King actually writing something that is quick and easy to read. So naturally I wanted to see the movie. Since that time, I ignore that a movie was made and stick to the book.
@Themaniacnextdoor I read that eighteen years ago in high school. Might still be in the library. Unfortunately, I have not found a copy for my own. This makes me sad, but there is still hope it may be reprinted in the future.
@JDBriceProductions yeah, i might have to turn to the internet for this. I might be able to get it yet at my main store, but it'll take awhile to show up.
@shitcasecinema when is there going to be a new review? Maybe I haven't looked hard enough(?) through the shit ton of videos but I haven't seen a new one since this one came out.
Thank you once again John... this one is a guilty pleasure of mine. Scary when I first saw it, but simply laughable now. Entertaining crap'... couldn't have said it better myself.
Busey was actually pretty tame in this one... so sad to see such a talented actor (see the Buddy Holly Story) crash so fast.
Great review, but you should have been drinking a Silver Bullet for this, you know... just because. By the way, the reverend with the eye patch was also "Big Ed" in the Twin Peaks, which is weird, because in Twin Peaks, Ed's wife Nadine wears an eye patch.
I watched this film last night, it's pretty shitty, the werewolf is not very well done, but the cast, the dad's grief stricken outcry and the scene were the whole church turns into werewolves makes this recommended.
As for the preacher being better than Bennet from Commando...........ure on some bad pills!
Hilarious review! Glad you didn't let the whole "melting into a puddle" thing hold you back. I never knew Corey Haim and Gary Busey were in a movie together. What a crazy duo.
i really hate cheeky brit humor lol
