  • Interesting but WIERD! As someone who was THERE in the 60's, and had a 'bike because it was all we 16yr olds could afford, to see wealthy fashion obsessed 20 somethings dressing up like this in 2011 is vaguely odd. The views expressed are miles from how it WAS, and, amongst those of us still around, still IS. But, if it keeps the spirit alive .....

  • These guys are unimportant but don't try telling them that. They will yell alot.

  • people say that the rockers are so fuckin tough i'd like to see one come and take me and my mates on for fucks sake

  • Love this!, but honestly I like Vespas, but fuck them... It's all about Triumph!!!

  • SEX PISTOLS!!!

  • wat a bunch of homos!

  • nuthin wrong with a bit of rough

  • Bunch of poseurs.

  • you call these guys posers? look at some wannabe punk rockers on MTV those pretty boy fags are the real posers

  • That should be 'its' the genitive is not a contraction. Learn your language.

  • like the video, is the club still going as they dont seem to be on facebook anymore ?

  • tossers...theyre more into their look than the bikes...should be called vain fuckers posing club....

  • @pmay222 At least they ride British... ever heard of a spanner?

  • @mrchuka ive heard of a spanner...there's a good few of em in this video....lol....

  • @pmay222 Just like all bikers then.

  • @pmay222 No not really.

  • we are we are we are the mods! ya bunch a greebo gays.

  • what the name of the song at the end, and who's it by?

  • Not all greasers are hoods or bullys.

  • ROCKERS RULES

    fuck the mod!

  • Rockers - Mods - both retards. Fucking sheep following your scene. Bahhhhhhhhh.

  • Nice Job. :)

  • fuck the mods there just nice guys

    rockers all the way!!

  • Cool cmon ive heard theres a few Mods about.!

  • your next bitch

  • i like this guy. he's a psycho

  • grease monkeys, up wit mod!!! only joking! he he

  • you better be

  • People could certainly afford Vincent-HRDs, although they were extremely expensive when new. By the late 1950s, they were really just obsolescent machines although ton-up boys respected them. They were priced accordingly and some photos show ton-up boys with Vins. There were also quite a few Norvins about.

  • I like when they ride there Vespa's ..real bad

  • I didn't see any Vespas there Mr Detroit! Maybe they should be driving a PT Cruiser eh?

  • That hurt..so no Hemi Challenger for you.JC

  • these old brit bikes made lots of noise but had no power, about as fast as a modern 125

  • Oh very observant! What bikes did Poland make?

  • in the 60s they made the junak 350, like a bsa b31 and just as slow

  • such as the vincent black shadow. and the triumph trident, British bikes were the first to do over a ton as standard

  • the vincent was a great bike but no one could afford to buy one, the trident to little to late, i think the italians got there first with 100mph bikes even the 250 ducati of the 60s could reach around that speed

  • Dickstainy you really are an uneducated twat, but typical of white trailer trash of the USA.

Why don't you fuck off and start another war, so you can lose yet another war, you twat.

  • Theres nothing gay about Rockers, my dad is a Rocker and he'd knock ur head off as soon as look at ya! Watching some of these videos on here and having people tell you first hand what went on it was really quite scary, you just didn't know what was going to happen and to what lengths some of these people would go to. I think if they had existed now you wouldn't have the little shits around of today, they would have been got rid of. Hallelujah! Bring it on!

  • AND your point is?

  • See below.

  • Cheers man with a name like yours?!

  • Keep up the good work guys. There is nothing better than being a Rocker. Wearing studded black leathers is about style. Like you my biker jacket is part of who I am and I wear it all week, even to work which is great because people recognise my individuality. It is about projecting who you are and looking good which is why I like the Rocker style including my black leather jacket. ROCKERS HAVE STYLE.

  • Cheers Geezer!

  • yer not for real unless ya bath in yer leathers....

on the other hand if ya bath yer not for real either.....

shit....i'm not sure if i even exist......i'm gonna go float around outside now and figure it out....

  • A fine idea!

  • Grease it on.

  • Very nice!

  • Great video! I am shipping my BSA over to England this coming August , for a month. Cant Wait. Maybe I will see you on the B roads. Being a photographer I would love to get some photos with your club...

  • Thank you Dick

  • one thing is for sure. you are a dick.

  • The voice of experience!

  • Kool as fuck....added to Mspace..see u down the Ace.

  • The video music's OK - But your man talking about Showaddywaddy - give us a break!!!

  • I think the point here is irony, Sir.

  • Dream on... Bubbleheads...

Can any of you ride or fix a bike?

    Get a life, guys

  • Well yes! Jake has been a classic bike mechanic for at least fifteen years. How about a positive comment in the spirit of the film?

  • Didn't want to dig anyone up - just saying, it doesn't come across too well for those who love the bikes...

  • because you don't have a clue. those guys are fucking icons.

  • WE ARE THE MODS!!!!

  • ugh! the dreamers~ move on cos happineeze machines breeze past all but the ducati~mods and their tin~pot scooters should listen to real musix!

  • Great to see you guys and girls keeping the spirit of the rockers alive and kicking.

The full black leather bikers look is so full on in style and cool, but to appreciate the ultimate in cool check out the rocker girl in the Free 'wishing well' video on youtube. • What tosh. Nothing looks cooler than a full set of black leathers head to toe astride a bike especially if the girl has a studded jacket and shades - THAT'S COOL

  • More like soft twats

  • THIS IS ABSOLUTLY STUPID!!!!!from the title to the video-----"stupid is as stupid does"

  • Very constructive comment!

  • Moondoggy more like moon-unit, prick.

  • Hey John! I knew you were in Berlin. I'm in Paris. Last time I saw you, you were in a Kubelwagen, over from Germany. Funny you should mention the Vincent. I'm in the process of a ground-up restoration. I'll be in Brittany this weekend assembling the bottom half of the motor. There's a good scene here in Paris, a bit like London about 20 years ago, before the 'politics' and the chromosexuals turned it into a wankfest. I bimble about on a 1950 Trophy and a 1955 R60.

  • memories ? i should coco, between 1984 and 2000 i was hacking around in london on various old bikes

i was occasionally to be found at the russel arms, the pen,59 club, johnsons caff

    etc etc

i had a quite nice original triton circa 1966 which still had dunlop racing tyres when i got it.

also had home made twin carb head, it was regularly blown up , but was quite fast.you can just see the front end of it poking in from the right hand side around 2.58 into the film

    happy days

  • the world is indeed a small place after all...

  • I come to NYC several times a year. I'm actually in Maine right now, working on a project. Never had a Triton although I rode a few around for photoshoots back then. Still got a Triumph but more into Vincents these days. All the best, PK

  • man i love punk but i just dont get the greaser idea ive personally found it lame and i always thought it revolved around being a dick so whatever i could be wrong

  • Who removed my second comment?

    Prosper Keating (MFMC Founder Member)

  • Hi Prosper, we met many years ago outside Ned's shop in Tooting Bec. How is Paris? I'm glad you like the vids... It was a little tongue in cheek with the Kenneth Anger references etc. Glad your still on the road. Need to get the Triton over here in NY. Kind Regards Chuka

  • Having watched it again, I must congratulate you on the aesthetics but it's worth pointing out that we weren't all into that whole Kenneth Anger "Scopio Rising" thing. I take the point about Putting On The Style but the original members tended to spend their hard-won cash or dole on tuning parts. I found the sequence of the caff racer being rolled into the garage particularly poignant, as did some of the other members I've talked to. We're still riding, though.

    PK

  • Nice short. I recognise some of the names. Even saw myself in one of Ben Part's pics. I still have my original alloy MFMC badge. These were made by Johnny Campling and Rob Carr. I also have a couple of the teeshirts. Drop me a line, guys. The scene here in Paris is about where London was twenty years ago.

    Prosper Keating (MFMC Founder Member)

  • yeah. at 04:05. Tom is also there. that is old.

  • I love those cromwell helmets, the Brit biker scene is so cool!!!

  • finally! rockers on the tube!,cheers keep em rollin

  • Thanks for all your positive comments.

  • Your the bullet mate!

  • Well, at least they're honest...IMHO bike first, look was alot of function, but glad to see they love theyre bikes...

  • Great video! You should check out the Brit Iron Rebels (www.britironrebels.com).

  • Coolll !!!

  • Quote:"Leather trousers were the cool thing to have."

    THEY STILL ARE!!!!
