slg is a shitty "sear-tripper" construction , it means that construction is pretty much like a tippmann... there is a sear holding bolt in place. that is not so good... PMR is waaaay better

ooo rubber detents isn't dat good they rub and erode and eventualy you'll have to replace them oh and invert mini in my opinion isn't dat good for the price. it has a crappy barrel however the gun is small it isn't like most guns being that the board is where the regulator is . i dont like that the gun looks wierd on the regulator side which is actually the board . and i like seeing microlines theyre cool! board at front means damage not too much helpon technichal problems since its not regulr

SLG is a very well desgined sear tripper. Really, the only noticable difference is kick+ sound, but thats solved with the 09 if that is a big deal to you.

personally i think the slg is a better deal. i mean, they come with the same board. not much difference except for the barrels and feedneck. plus the pmr 09 is $150 more. slg definitely.

PM me if you want me to explain in detail, but to put it simply, sear tripping is what mechanical guns use to fire, and mechanical guns are much lower on the technology scale than electros so people (like me) often criticize the slg for that. When the trigger is pulled on a sear tripper, the sear is tripped which often releases the hammer to strike the valve, to fire the gun. I dont know what happens in an slg when the sear is tripped but I would never pay $300 for a low tech gun like that

in my opinion get the 09 PMR. its a lot better than the slg in many ways. the pmr has the dye ultrlight frame with ultralight roller bearing triiger, a beter clamping feedneck than the slg, it has a two piece 14 in. barrel honned to .690 versus the one piece 12 in. slg barrel.

and then the internals of the gun are basicly a bit better than the slg. the pmr is 450$ and the slg is 200$

get the 08 pmr. The SLG has plastic pieces in the bolt which sometimes break when you are shooting. The pmr has an all metal bolt.
