What's the BEST base? My BF is trying to PCS he's been at the same base for 5 years now?! I know Minot is the WORSE! lol I'm hoping for us to get approval for the base in Tampa..Mc-something! lol

@NANCY10ARRON i think that it gets easier and harder at the same time. but what i can tell you is that time flies. i only have 3 months left ont this 12month deployment. :) so dont worry before you know it time is gonna fly and u will be back with him :)

Hey Veronica! High respect for your fiance and for you being so strong! I'm in the Army (RN) and that's one thing I kind of don't look foward to if I meet someone in the military (the distance). But people make it happen and so can you! I work with a lot of civilian nurses on my floor that are spouses of military soldiers and the great thing is they are pretty much always guaranteed a job at the military hospitals wherever you get stationed, so check it out when you become an RN!

btw is the "best base" stateside? Because Misawa rocks (you should look into it once they get the tsunami under wraps).
Also I agree with skype. It's a lifesaver. We talk and "hang out" almost every day thanks to skype. <3
