@kronz21 the IT factor is violence. Silva is capable of knocking you unconscious at any given moment. GSP wouldn't take Silva down at will either. Could he get a good amount of takedowns? Yes, but it would be hard for him to hold someone who is 20 pounds bigger down. This isn't GSP at 170lb anymore, where he is bigger and better than everyone else. This is 185lb or whatever catchweight they choose, against the best fighter at that weight. Big difference

@kronz21 GSP isn't a natural 185lb. He's one of those guys who is right inbetween, where he would be a small 185lb but a very big 170lb. GSP cuts from around 190lb and Silva cuts from around 220lb. The size difference is very notable, and even though GSP is a great wrestler, I think he is too small to hold Silva down. GSP knows the only way to win is a boring decision, and that isn't even guaranteed. He can't submit or knockout Anderson. Silva has more ways to win, and would win IMO.

I believe he's a great fighter, he trains with middleweights and light-heavyweights and they all say that he's amazing. I think he can beat Anderson but we'll have to wait to see. It might not be as exiting as a knockout but at least its fighting.

He isn't big enough to do what Chael did, and though he could avoid submissions from Silva, he couldn't submit Anderson. GSP can only win one way, by holding Anderson down for 25 minutes, which would be difficult due to the size difference. Silva has more than one option of winning.

@kronz21 GSP isn't a natural 185lb. He's one of those guys who is right inbetween, where he would be a small 185lb but a very big 170lb. GSP cuts from around 190lb and Silva cuts from around 220lb. The size difference is very notable, and even though GSP is a great wrestler, I think he is too small to hold Silva down. GSP knows the only way to win is a boring decision, and that isn't even guaranteed. He can't submit or knockout Anderson. Silva has more ways to win, and would win IMO.

I believe he's a great fighter, he trains with middleweights and light-heavyweights and they all say that he's amazing. I think he can beat Anderson but we'll have to wait to see. As for Jake shields, quite frankly everyone knows Shields stand up is terrible but he has a great ground game. So does GSP though. I can't wait until its in my city.
