    please!!! =)

  • @Thesixthellone the dizi

  • Amazing music.. Hearing this makes me more amazed with chinese cultures

  • Chinese people are so wise in so many levels.

    If only my country had death-vans for executing tax-evading crooks, we might had avoided our economic collapse. ;_;

  • I have never saw and heard this kind of music. It is so beautiful and fantastic.

  • this is so beautiful :)

  • Super rendition...

  • Still one of my favorites...unbelievably beautiful!

  • i played this for my son during my pregnancy, he would start moving slowly....he loved it then and he loves it now, it always calms him and me.

  • 等待命名 is nicer.

  • Love this song :D

  • wonderful makes me shy to say that I am attempting to play the guzheng..but I will master it with great difficulty eventually..

  • me inspira para muchas cosas de la vida de las cuales disfruto a fondo.....

  • Increible.. esta musica es magia, paz para mi alma

  • this is stunning... its so weird (but not when you really think about it...) how far eastern music is so completely different to anything that the heavily commercialised west can produce. The only things that come close to this is some of the old european classical pieces, of which very few are sighted as influences these days :( the east still holds its roots with supreme regard, why can't we!!!

  • @LUMBERTHON As much as I wish the above to be true, China's cultural revolution destroyed Chinese culture on the mainland. Western music wise... I find a few prog rock bands keep some of the classical musical traditional alive.

  • @Zophixan Sorry friend but a very common misconception, cultural revolution destroyed Manchu Qing dynasty culture, without it China would still be more like Qing; one problem, the original Chinese culture didn't come back but instead replaced by modern western culture.

  • @Seres1091 Hi, thank you for your reponse! I am actually very interested in how the Manchu changed our culture. Obviously the hanfu was destroyed, and I believe they changed a lot of the moral code. What other things did they change? I know that Nanjing Mandarin is long gone.. and modern mandarin has a lot of manchu characterisitcs. Music wise, Beijing opera seems to be a prime example. I wish we were back in the old Tang days culturally...

  • @Zophixan The Manchus in fact didn't influence Han much, only clothes and the "pigtail"; they only had 200,000 people when they took over China. The government structure, holidays, architecture, art, were still Han from the Ming dynasty. I know for sure that "mandarin" was a northern Han dialect made officially the court speech during the start of Ming. Sorry but I have never heard of Nanjing Mandarin and don't know much about Beijing opera. Go to Xi'an, Tang culture is VERY alive, even marriages.

  • @LUMBERTHON

You should go to China and see what Chinese teens are listening to, if you thought Britney Spears was bad you would be shocked. Chinese pop music is not pretty

  • @tifius I can imagine actually. all those schoolgirl bands with terrible morals, i.e. turn on as many older men as possible... I gues it's the same with anything commercial, you milk it for all it's worth and get as much out of it as posisble. Chinese metal, now that's something exciting :-P

  • @LUMBERTHON It's all in where you look and I wouldn't be so quick to entirely discount Western music. Each culture has its different realms; from commercialized crap to ethereal and classically influenced.

  • @thesarahpea Ah, I didn't say all Western music was poo, just the stuff I don't like :-P I think I'm just in love with Chinese musical themes a bit, although I know sod all about their culture and history... From what I have heard of Chinese classical and modern classical music it is much more exciting than Western equivalents, but then I guess it's all just a matter of taste!! Not to discount Western classical music at all though, there is some beautiful stuff out there!! Einaudi for instance

  • @LUMBERTHON

but sadly, this is also very niche music in China where most of the music is also heavily commercialized.

Education from an early age is important and the only way to hold on to our roots

  • @LUMBERTHON that is because people of the west love change while those of the east keep thier roots deep in the ground.

  • @LUMBERTHON that is nonsense my friend, there is plenty underground music which is made in the US and Europe and which is amazing as can be. Also, there are plenty pop/rockgroups in china, korea, japan and whatnot who make the crappiest music ever. :) This song is beautiful tho, not denying that, just saying that you are wrong on the whole 'western music nowadays is crappy popmusic', because obviously you havent looked further than radio and MTV :)

  • Beautiful music, beautiful video, pretty woman with perfect skills an gracious moves..everything is just perfect.
