@Kkoperfild I think nobody knows, and i do not believe in a simple solution for the current crisis. Maybe the system will completely fail.....only to be built up again, like it has been before many times in the past. Or maybe this is the beginning of a long slow spiral downwards, as oil and other resource's are becoming increasingly scarce. And nobody is going to solve that problem, trust me on that one.

And that's where other main characteristic of our species comes- laziness. Man didn't create wheel because he had nothing else to do. He did it to make work easier. Great video! Even though In my opinion the religious should be allowed to worship privately. It shouldn't play a larger role outside of the house. Oppression against the religious makes communists like us look worse than the religious extremists like Westboro or Al Qadea.

@Kkoperfild I know how bad it is in Greece. And I definitely agree that capitalism is bad. But you can't simply change the system in a day. Bolsheviks tried and it was a failure. Change must happen gradually at peoples level. And for now, capitalism with all it's faults is the best what we can have. Doing otherwise would be like taking some African tribe with strict hierarchy and trying to bring them democracy... It simply won't work. Ideas are patient. Communism can wait for centuries.

Or they simply were thinking only about those several years when they will be in office. It is possible to be a capitalist country and be prospering, only you need a capable government. I am from ex-communist country and I can say one thing about communism. On paper, it seems as a paradise, in reality it is rotten. Not because it is bad as an idea, but because it is impossible to make it work without completely destroying all humans who think otherwise. On paper, all people are equal. In reality, there are always people who become "more equal". It is human nature.
You have to understand, SovietTrall, that the very foundation of our Marxism-Leninism is the philosophy of Historical Materialism -- which explicitly rules out the possibility of ANY god existing. Communism is meant to oppress religion. As glorious as the USSR was it didn't follow Communism to its full potential. You quoted the USSR constitution and I quote the Communist Manifesto its self. Christian Communism predates Marxism. I'd say that few people are productive in a welfare state. It is doubtful that people would be happier so what is it really for? Change must happen gradually at peoples level. And for now, capitalism with all it's faults is the best what we can have. Doing otherwise would be like taking some African tribe with strict hierarchy and trying to bring them democracy... It simply won't work. Ideas are patient. Communism can wait for centuries.

@Kkoperfild And about Greece. I think the main problem was not because of capitalism but because you elected politicians who were incompetent. They had no ability to foresee the future of country. Or they simply were thinking only about those several years when they will be in office. It is possible to be a capitalist country and be prospering, only you need a capable government. So I will say fight, not for communism, but for future of your country, and elect smart people instead of populists.

@Exarion23 do you know what's going on in my country??? it's not the goverment!! we are facing a dept near to 350 billion created by the banks. its not the peoples fault, the goverment are trying to pay it back by taking the money from the people(high taxes, less salaries, less jobs,less money for hospitals, schools etc). but they're is no way back. capitalism has completly fail in greece. the dept is not ur fault, they made it but they are forcing us to pay it!!

I am from ex-communist country and I can say one thing about communism. On paper, it seems as a paradise, in reality it is rotten. Not because it is bad as an idea, but because it is impossible to make it work without completely destroying all humans who think otherwise. On paper, all people are equal. In reality, there are always people who become "more equal". It is human nature.

You have to understand, SovietTrall, that the very foundation of our Marxism-Leninism is the philosophy of Historical Materialism -- which explicitly rules out the possibility of ANY god existing. Anybody who thinks religion is compatible with Marxism is out of their mind, and this has to do with more than a few scraps of quotations. It's the entire philosophy that the body of Marxism sprang from.

actually, the Communist manifesto does say something about the abolition of religion. page 26, last paragraph: "there are, besides, eternal truths, such as freedom, justice, etc. that are common to all states of society. but Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis; it therefor acts in contradiction to all past historical experience."

Communists were very “religious” people actually. They stole Christian principles and, having got rid of living God, they began to realize those principles. It seemed good and fair. But the problem was next – Christian principles were useless without living God even if one tries to substitute Him with best of human beings. That’s why the plot to build a perfect state of man on the earth ruined and the whole communism idea got corrupted and degenerated. And eventually fell into pieces.

Christian Communism predates Marxism. I'd say that few people are productive in a welfare state. It is doubtful that people would be happier so what is it really for? Don't get me wrong, I see it happening in a not incredibly far future, when most jobs are automated and people are in college until they are 35. Since communism has always been practiced by poorer contries (at least at the time they went communist) the nations tend to expirience a braindrain/white flight

I just feel like communism limits human potential. I think it originally had very good intentions but its an attempt to have a perfect system... which is impossible for humans being imperfect beings.. it fails to take human nature into account. Power corrupts and even in a socialist world someone has to be in charge.

There are many different variations of Communism, and different ideologies. And I am a Christian Communist, which by the way is a official party. But you must understand that there are different views for the same "name" of the party, not just one. Also the KPRF has religious leaders in the party, and they are a party. The revolution aspect of Communism only comes into play when enough people are pushed to the limit by a oppressive government. Your ideals are more atheist then communist

Religion should b a personal behavior, removed from any state activity. The former Soviet state had every rite 2 undo tsarism's theocracy, while at the same time permit individuals and congregations 2 follow their religious beliefs.
i have more of a problem with religious fundamentalists than just individuals who have faith - Lenin felt the same way. Don't repress good religious folk, who r workers, but the Orthodox priests in bed with the tsar, who exert state power, 2 hell with them.
