Stem cells aren't embryos. They are part of embryos. Amanda never proves the unborn aren't human beings in this video. She simply asserts it.
She also doesn't mention the high rejection rate of embryonic stem cells. The advantage of adult stem cells is that your body doesn't reject them because they come from your body. Embryonic stem cells come from someone else's body.
Before Amanda calls pro-lifers anti-science, it would helpful to know what science is.
If you don't think they're people, then your belief that they should be valued more than the health of actual people becomes even more disgusting, though. I'd stick to the original ploy of pretending you think stem cells are people.
Is Amanda Marcotte so stupid she thinks prolifers think "stem cells" are people? One would think you would at least understand their position before trying to refute it. Amanda might also want to type "induced pluripotent stem cells" in Google.
