If you want to see how the carriers discard their waste, watch the PBS series, Carrier. You will not see large trash bags thrown over, the trash is separated into donnage, which is biodegradable materials and thrown overboard, and plastics which are not thrown overboard. Maybe you should try to get footage of a cruise liner throwing all their trash overboard without separating it.

I was in the Navy from 75-81.
While I was stationed on the USS MacDonough, we threw dozens of large trash bags over the side every day.
I would like someone currently underway to video this practice and post it on You Tube.
