My wife and I love Scotties. We have 2 6 year olds. The female is a Wheaton named Butterscotch and the male is a Brindle named Root Beer. Over 6 years ago I had 1 Black Scotty name Shaggy who passed away in 2005 at the groomers!
Ahh, bless! My scottie does that with most things that move near his face, like sticks, flies/wasps, spades and rope toys, but also brooms... it's impossible to sweep anything up when he's in the room! He's absolutely mad, I love him to bits though :)

I have 2 Scotties at the mo and both have horrendously different characters. One seems permanently depressed, when he's not trying to hump things. The other's a bit "stupid" but has the heart of wallace (Ie, you can imagine her attacking...well, most things. Jesus/hitler/henry kissinger etc).
my scotty was called Bruce, i had from when i was 9 to 23, he was the best dog i ever had and was MAD! so funny, the best charactor in a dog you could wish for. When my son is 5 i'm getting him one for his birthday and he can have some great memory's as i have. R.I.P brucie, you will alway's be in my heart x

Thats nothing! Just recently our Scotties Brodie and lauran banded together to stop the evil Foul Smelling Mop of doom!!! With lame jokes aside i think its natural for scotties to chase and persue objects like the shovel or mop.
i love scotties. They shouldn't be put into the terrier group. They don't snap, they're not timid. They're smart, sassy, loyal, and brave. My scottie loves the hose. Whenever I water the flowers she tries to 'bite' the water that comes out. Despite her best efforts, she never catches it hahah.

True Scotties are fearless, will chase everything that moves on the ground. The best, most loyal, most fun, most beautiful and dignified breed of dog ever.
that's exactly what my 2 year old scottie alfie does to the hoover! except he growls when it comes towards him.. lol i love scotties! alfie also gets that snow moustache when its snowing :)
