  • thanks for all this awesome info

  • It's "translational" lift not "transitional" lift.

  • great vids mate thanks

  • Hopping and sliding aorund on the ground is boring and a waste of time beyond 5 minutes. If people would buying these crappy little plastic helis they would not have to do that.

Little heli = hard to fly and pure frustration

Big heli = easier to fly and more fun.

Anyone interested in flying a heli should start with nothing smaller than a 450 electric or .30 nitro. Anything less is a waste of time and frustrating.

  • @rockinar i have a Skyline with Gyro RC Helicopter and I broke a tiny piece of one of the main rotor blades so I was thinking I should start off smaller with a TurboHawk gyro RC helicopter from protocol, is that to small?

  • THANK YOU

  • Heli is short for helicopter so why would you pronounce it differently? It is heli not healy. Good job in the vids tho. This can really help a beginner.

  • @helicrashpro Lmao @ that too, It's the same with all English words, Americans change the pronunciation so it's different to how we say it, even if it makes no sense afterwards like "HEALEY" It's Heli as in Helicopter !!! Lmao ! ; )

  • Hey nice tutorials.I have a 4chan nightranger1 (non3D) &I got to the stage where I could comfortably side-in hover 2-3ft up OGE balanced, still with training gear. When attempting forward movement @fast walking pace the front immediately pitches up uncontrollably(past being able to overcome it with forward cyclic)and goes into a stall pointing up. Like if you throw a paper plane too hard & it 'dives' up. Any idea how to fix this? ty

I thnk maybe this fixed pitch heli is limited to hovering only

  • @JasonJJasonJ I don't really know why this is happening. Try taking the training gear off, that will help a lot.

  • @hbk2flyer, Yep, ok thank you, something to try. Although I'm not good enough at landings to remove it yet, so I will practice hovering more before I try forward flying.

    Good videos btw.

  • Scooting best advise ever. Just got a Storm 450 Carbon fiber. I am afraid to fly it though. Scooting is best for now fore sure. Respectfully Greg aka kat

  • @katargethe Good idea to take it easy. Scoot, then little hops. Eventually hover a few seconds and put it down easy, don't slam it to the mat. Watch out for obstacles.

  • Have you tried a cassette. Much easier than a CD or 8 track.

  • Hi, when I use Real Flight Simulator 3.5 , it send me a message ERROR CREATING EFFECT SHADOWBLOB2 AND ERROR CREATING EFFECT SHADOWANTIBLOB2.

I HAVE AN APPLE MACBOOK PRO, AND I USE VMware Fusion, in order to can use windows on mac. could you help me about that?

  • @margalo1 Sorry I missed seeing this post. i don;t know much about macs and am not using Real Flight. Sounds like a graphics error in the VMware emulator. Wish I could be of more help.

  • Thanks, learning a lot here.

  • omg ur so funny while ur explaining , ur great LOL i am learning + loling here thanks mate :))

  • We'll have some outside episodes pretty soon. Still too cold right now.

  • It's very windy and rainy these time of year,it's pretty difficult to learn it with a lot of wind.
