@aitkensE04xXxRecon @coolio123454 - Each vehicle has a motor and a small magnet attached by a lever to the front steering. The magnet follows a steel wire placed just beneath the road surface, and steers the vehicle accordingly.

I saw the american system at New York it is better cars for half the price and the start and stop much more realistically. You're right faller DOES price themselves out of the market yet again!

The Faller Car System is a ripoff:

Starter set with 1 truck:

$150us

ONE car $80-100us

Motor $50 us (!)

Batt $50 us (!)

It's a ripoff there sre other cheaper and better (DCC smooth starts/stops) systems coming and it won't cost $4000 for a few moving cars.

Talk about being business repellant! Faller priced themselves out of the market as usual.

This is excellent! Thanks for sharing. To this day I still don't understand why we're not seeing more of this type of system here in the U.S. It may help Faller to include more American trucks, buses, and cars. These would be great for the many HO club layouts in the U.S and Canada. - Peace

You can see an US truck overkill of this system in the Miniatur Wunderland videos. The MiWuLa in Hamburg has loads of Greyhound busses etc on their America part.
