Remember you're the one with the power (no hangover, no embarrassments, a pocket full of money the next day etc etc..you're REAL friends will appreciate what you're doing and it won't be obvious, but, alot of people will envy you.
Well, it's not for everyone. I can admit, I've cried while drunk but mostly really happy and stuff. I'm normally shy but once you know me and I'm comfortable with you, I'm different. And I am proud to say I'm never dumb while drunk and I'm really smart, I just like having fun. I hate, "Well, I was drunk.." as an excuse, too. It bugs me. I ALWAYS remember what I've done and said that night. I never thought I would have been drunk in my life because of a family member and their drinking problem
@Lexandreax I was afraid I was going to end up like them, but then I decided to not let it run my life and stop me from having fun. I can't understand how people can be drunk all day, everyday. I'm the opposite from this person in my life and I'm smart. It is fun every once in awhile to be drunk but not all the time, no. I'm always around my awesome friends and my amazing boyfriend, we're all just having fun. He is also very smart when he drinks. He can handle it VERY well. : )

I totally agree, never been drunk and proud of it. Except I'm gonna go a step further and say that being drunk at all is just dumb. I have a blast just hanging with friends and watching movies or playing videogames or whatever. I don't get why people think they need hangovers and vomiting and uncontrollable stupidity to have fun. Not that alcohol in general is bad. A couple beers at a football game never hurt anybody. Just show some self-control.

I'm always the one at the party taking care of the fool-who-drank-themselves-into-oblivion, because others are too drunk themselves to do it, and because I feel it is my unfortunate duty. I'm also the one who keeps an eye out for anyone, usually a girl, susceptible to being taken advantage of. All the while trying to enjoy the night, with a few drinks myself.

Responsibilty, for yourself and what you can influence, is not a hat you can take off on your way to the bottle
I suggest you try home-brew, I think you'll like it. Gives juice blends a CO2 head, a lil alcohol, subtle flavors like wine, and a nice overall taste. Delicious, and beats the hell out of soda
