I was on the drumline, then this year was takin off because there were to many of us. This year I am being put back on, and it will be hard. I don't know if I will be able to even do it. It's usually art of some kind. Writing, journal entries...riding motorcycles, etc etc. I love them all...but for me..music is king.

And, even now that 11 years have past...I still think of her from time to time. She had such a troubled heart. I have worked in menatl health for 7 years now, hoping to bring a little comfort into people's lives. I've heard people say "time heals all wounds", I disagree. You don't heal...you just scar up...and forget. There's a difference. But in the end, I've found it's not time, but God who helps you with the hardest things.

Try and cry on the high notes...like a creaking door if you will. And try to stay loose. Think about stretching your voice instead of clinching down on a note. Open up etc. If you feel like you're going to lose it, you're doing it right.
i really appreciate this cover man. im a senior in highschool and i played on the baseball team last year. our catcher committed suicide right before our season started and it was some of the toughest times i had been through because i had lost three other close friends just that year, and it was so wierd cuz i could have sworn they wrote this song just for him. he was seventeen....so we dedicated this to him. i sing myself and i consider myself to be ok. its just tough for me sometimes.

This song made me cry hearing you sing it. I was suicidal in high school and I know how it goes. Its hard. So a personal thanks for getting this out there for everyone to know you can get help and that its there for those who need it.

@XkissavampireX : That's awesome. It seems like everyone has that thing inside of them that has to be let out...expressed. Some people do that through painting, music....building something. It's usually art of some kind. Writing, journal entries...riding motorcycles, etc etc. I love them all...but for me..music is king.

What a beautiful voice you have!! This song is one of my favs from RF. Brings back some memories.... I had a friend who commited suicide when we were 19 years old. And, even now that 11 years have past...I still think of her from time to time. She had such a troubled heart. I have worked in menatl health for 7 years now, hoping to bring a little comfort into people's lives. It's nice to see someone as yourself still putting their heart first, Thanks for sharing your hope with us.

@79redhot : Sorry to hear about your friend. It seems like everyone has had someone really close to them pass on. It's hard. Hurts beyond measure. I've been there. I've heard people say "time heals all wounds", I disagree. You don't heal...you just scar up...and forget. There's a difference. But in the end, I've found it's not time, but God who helps you with the hardest things.

This song reminds me of a my good friend who commit suicide at 14 years old. Very well sung.! Love your voice. U do sound like Gary, however, you have your own touch, and way of singing it. And I love it! Keep it up. I want to hear you on the radio here in Vancouver really soon!! :)

@MrJakeS777 : Hey man, best thing to do is watch my vocal coaching vid..that'll give you some of the best info I have on singing. And quite simply. Try and cry on the high notes...like a creaking door if you will. And try to stay loose. Think about stretching your voice instead of clinching down on a note. Open up etc. If you feel like you're going to lose it, you're doing it right.

i really appreciate this cover man. im a senior in highschool and i played on the baseball team last year. our catcher committed suicide right before our season started and it was some of the toughest times i had been through because i had lost three other close friends just that year, and it was so wierd cuz i could have sworn they wrote this song just for him. he was seventeen....so we dedicated this to him. i sing myself and i consider myself to be ok. its just tough for me sometimes.

I was in the car today and my mom had a CD full of songs I've done and I quickly sifted through all of them to see what was there, perhaps songs I'd forgotten etc...and it surprised me when I noticed ALL of the songs were songs that were deep, and meant something.
