And how is it not hunting Ms. Treehugger? I don't take comments from atheist,Limey socialists too seriously, but thanks for watching and bumping up my hits on this fine HUNTING video!:)
@lungbuster12point06 - an animal walks up to you and stick an arrow in it. You are a great hunter. You also have that typical american hunters body with a fat gut. Get over yourself wanker. Your video makes you look like a dik. Why exactlly is a sterling professional hunter like you so fat? What do you do when you aren't out Hunting? Hanging out at McDonalds?
@IncognitoShhh Fat?????? I am 6' 1" and 185lbs............... But I guess to a vegan anorexic such as yourself that is fat.....hahahaha Guess I've been eating too much delicious venison and other wild game.:) Maybe if you tried some wild game it would grow back the brain cells you obviously have lost over the years as you cannot spell or form proper sentences. hahahahaha
@briargoatkilla No, I killed a doe later that year and the exit hole was only the size of a pencil tip, obviously it collapsed around bone and never re-opened. Did not lose any deer to the Atom, but I did not want to take any chances either. I am more confident using a fixed blade COC head.
nice shot and nice video. they do come in quick at times. had the same thing happen this year as I pulled my bow up three came in on me! I was busted.
Not trying to be a turd....but you gotta get rid of those ATOM broadheads. A WHOLE lot of people are complaining about how crappy they are. Blades bust off pretty easily...and they are NOT sharp. Lots of other heads out there that are much better. I just don't want you to find out too late that they are crap...AKA Gimmick!
I appreciate your comment........however I have seen nothing but good things from this head, I guess until I see first hand proof that it does not work i will continue to use it.
Why would you search for this video just to warn someone about the head being a "gimmick"?
I guarantee you that the titanium wires on this broadhead to not break off as easy as the blades on most mechanical and fixed blade heads. One guy has killed 18 animals with one set of blades.
Sounds like maybe you have some special interest in some other company. If you do, this aint the way to promote them. How about you promote your broadhead on your own video of a kill.
No special interest. And I was searching on "WI bowhunts" not "Atom"...I've just seen a ton of bad reviews on them is all. They just seem like an outragously overpriced head that doesn't perform like it's price tag would lead you to beleive.
So basically you haven't used it, you are just here bashing it based on what someone else wrote that you haven't even provided any evidence for.
There's a difference between a bad review and speculation. I don't accept, as a review, speculation from people who haven't even shot the broadhead. That would be like a food critic giving a restuarant a bad review based on what they read on a message board.
ROFLMAO...WOW! You're a regular Sherlock Holmes now aren't ya? I did in fact search on "Wi Bowhunts". I found another video from lungbuster...watched it...was interested to see more of his stuff so I clicked on his profile...thus leading me to this video.
And here is just one of the reviews of the Atom by a pretty reputable guy that knows his broadheads very well. broadheadtests dot com click on new heads
Funny, all you guys reference a pay site to as your "evidence". Do you think I am going to pay to see someone's opinion on a test they ran shooting concrete, trash cans and plywood?
The video above shows a mature doe being harvested with slightly less than a perfect shot. That's the test that counts, and you get to see it for free.
"The video above shows a mature doe being harvested with slightly less than a perfect shot. That's the test that counts, and you get to see it for free."
Not much upstairs their huh...BigD?. A target point for crap sake will harvest a deer with a slightly less than perfect shot. It's the shots through a shoulder, high rib, spine etc...where the tests count.
Since you're posting on this site you obviously have internet access. So that means you also have access to this thing called google....give it a try and let me know what you find out about the Atom broadhead.
I also know of a few proshops here in WI that refuse to carry these heads due to their poor performance.
You have made an assertion. The only "proof" you can muster is to redirect me to a search engine. You made the assertion, you use the search engine and show support for your claim. Then again, you could just resort back to personal attacks.
What do you want me to do? Come to your effing house and shoot one up your ash to prove they suck? I'm done....you can have your crappy broadheads. It makes me sick thinking about the animals that will be unrecovered do to these poor performing dull overpriced wireheads.
Btw, I have taken several animals with this broadhead including deer and hogs. These broadheads are designed to fly accurately and they leave a good blood trail. Any broadhead on the market can and has wounded animals. It's up to the shooter to be competent enough to take a shot at an ethical distance, then to spend the time required to track the animal. One Atom killed 18 animals, same head same wires. It's taken many African game animals and even Buffalo.
Hunt? that's not hunting.

Also, this video doesn't even come up under the search you claimed to have used. The tags are "bowhunting, whitetail, deer, atom,"
Nice try.

Since you cannot support your assertions, you resort to personal attacks. That's a great indication of just how much weight your assertions hold.
Grow up.

To summarize, you have absolutely no idea because:
A: You've never used one
B: You don't know anyone who has used one
C: Internet bad asses are a dime a dozen.
