every religion speaks of a God a higher power even those with more than one... is truly is only ONE ultimate being...and they all have a holy son or ultimate prophet...ALL... now they all speak of a connection with that higher being with in ourselves...aka. soul.spirit. consciousness. chi.....don't be a hater .. god is there ... and when his judgment is to pass what will it be our THOUGHTS! the body is a machine the brain controls and the spirit conscioucness soul is what controls the brain
@ginga400 As a Buddist I know Buddha is NOT a god. There is evidence of Buddha actualla having lived. He reached an enlightened state. He did not become a god. So I am not wrong there. In Hindism there are several gods. Islamic, Christian and Jewish believes in ONE god. Buddhism believes in a state of mind that Siddhatha Gautama (Buddha) reached a long time ago. So Buddha is the first enlightened as Buddha means "The enlightened one". Please do not argue if you don't know the fact...

I respect that other people have a different believe. But I just can't believe in a god. To me it is not an option. But if you feerl like that is a comfort or anything, then I will not hold that against you. Every person needs something to believe in. Even the worst of criminals have a believe of some sort.
