I also find it amazingly convenient that they have the video footage of the monks but for some reason don't have the footage of the police taking them away which could have worked really well for them...

These monks have been confined for 2 weeks with no communication from outside as they claim since 3/10, but riot only started on 3/14! So how do they know what really happened on street? Pleaing sympathy is one thing, lying out front is quite another. People, use your common sense.

I don't believe everything Chinese officials say, neither western media. Simply because western media NEVER tell west can benefit from Tibet independence, so they are NOT neutral as they claim and pretend to be.
