I don't know where the flame war started, but I have to say that the wii IS LACKING when it comes to good quality M rated games. There are some great wii games, but the ratio is bad. The wii has a TON of crappy games! I'm hoping the wiiU does better.

I played the demo today. I was worried, because I don't have the CPP, but I highly enjoyed it with the standard 3DS controls. I'm also surprised there were no frame rate issues with all the detail that was put into it with the lively environments (I was playing in 3D even).

@BlueYoshiGamer because its on a smaller screen. just like an 8bit art or sprites if u zoom in on them you can see the pixels more clearly. so in short i would say it looks x1.7 better on the 3ds :)
@Mr16Fawkes 1 the hd collection and the 3d remake both look like what remakes are supposed to look... ported with some glossy effects here and there. the "HD" collection for the ps3 isnt true 1080p its not even close to being true 720p, so dont call it an HD remake kay? 3 the 3ds version just like the HD collection has changed since we last saw it.. but it sill looks pretty freaking amazing
Too bad the game that we're getting doesn't look as good as this. This version really is beautiful. The mapping on the trees and leaves, the new lighting and textures, even the amount of canopy cover in this version is a good bit better than what I've seen for what we're getting in a few months.

Konami is really taking the 3DS seriously. More seriously than even Nintendo if you ask me. While Nintendo is doing their little N64 ports, Konami cranked out friggin MGS3 from the goddamn PS2 like whatev's, that's how we do it. Then they brought out the even more beautiful, original, Beyond the Labyrinth, like oh yeah, here's this shit too in case your unappreciative ass was unimpressed with Snake Eater. Fuck yeah Konami!
@bigstabby Except this was only the tech demo. The actual game is a PS2 port with maybe more color and other things. What Nintendo did was fully remake the games and not just port them like you said.

It's a nice touch at the very end when the Boss has snake outclassed, but backs away at the end to show that she's holding back. Cant wait to see how this game shapes up.
@SBroproductions You say that but the games on 3Ds aside from the Super Mario 3DS wasn't really impressing me. They just looked super pixeled with a free movement camera at times. This however is [pardon my language] super fucking amazing. Though since I've always been a fan of Konami's work especially Hideo Kojima's work. I expected no fail when I clicked on this video, so glad that I was right on that.

Konami is really taking the 3DS seriously. More seriously than even Nintendo if you ask me. While Nintendo is doing their little N64 ports, Konami cranked out friggin MGS3 from the goddamn PS2 like whatev's, that's how we do it. Then they brought out the even more beautiful, original, Beyond the Labyrinth, like oh yeah, here's this shit too in case your unappreciative ass was unimpressed with Snake Eater. Fuck yeah Konami!

@bigstabby Except this was only the tech demo. The actual game is a PS2 port with maybe more color and other things. What Nintendo did was fully remake the games and not just port them like you said.

It's a nice touch at the very end when the Boss has snake outclassed, but backs away at the end to show that she's holding back. Cant wait to see how this game shapes up.

@SBroproductions You say that but the games on 3Ds aside from the Super Mario 3DS wasn't really impressing me. They just looked super pixeled with a free movement camera at times. This however is [pardon my language] super fucking amazing. Though since I've always been a fan of Konami's work especially Hideo Kojima's work. I expected no fail when I clicked on this video, so glad that I was right on that.

@Xandersama Ya. This thing is more powerful. Its inbetween Wii and Gamecube powerwise (leaning more toward Wii) Gamecube is more powerful than PS2.

i love how theyre making use of the 3d capabilities, if anyone can think of kool origional ways to use it its kojima, i always loved how mgs has blended 3rd person with 1st person, and this looks to be an awsome addition to the metal gear roster, i personaly cannot fucking wait, this is gunna be a platform seller.
