Michael W Smith is a legend. I mean you have Kings in every genre of music. MJ the king of pop, Elvis the king of Rock, George Strait, the King of country now you definitely have a great Christian/Gospel singer who could be titled best.

I didn't listen to much Gospel up until this year either. A lot of things came up in my life this year and I needed something positive. I still love my country music but sometimes I can't listen to the sad songs because this has been a tough year and a lot of this music is uplifting. Michael W. Smith just has a good way of presenting his songs bringing a more positive energy into the music.
