Demonology makes more dps anyway....if you now have 36% of crit, in Demon you have 50%, you're sp 3500 and more....the only lost component is the haste because in Demonology talents only when the target in below 35% of health you gain the Decimation's Buff, and with Molten Core....Anyway I prefer Demonology for pve, destruction is better for pvp, with shadowfury. Anyway Good Video ^^

@Bastardatore Personally Affliction is top dps for any warlock with good haste but demonology is good for raid buffs if u like to share XD

not bad at all. you could get a bit moar deeps if you specced out of soul leech and improved, and putting them in demonology speccing 3 into unholy power and one in soul link. a bit more survivability in raids, and more personal damage. that with improved imp, the talents in demonology that make your imp hit 30% harder, hopefully glyph of imp and unholy power turns your imp into a little beast. you lose the little heals and the raid wide replenishment. kind of selfish but you have life tap lol.

@jareddrm The improved ISL and the glyph of immolate has been matematicly proven to be better then the ipm spec in the ~ilvl 264 gear, and reamins as it untill late 277~ilvl gear. the ISL spec is the best in tier 10 gear because 2% of your mana becomes a high amount of mana, thus you don't need to life tap taht often reducing the GCD's used for that. The imp is nothing in your dps, you only use it as a crit buff.

I was told NOT to use corruption unless you are moveing alot but not to if ur not but i have the Nibelung and was wandering if I should always use corruption so it procs more often cause i DPS check the Vla'kyr and it seemed to max out at 1k DPS which helps some when i only have 5476 GS which isnt much and i only pull 5.5-5.7k (self buffed) max with me and just my imp and the highest i have had was 6.7k DPS

@bastardcartman It's basically something to do with mana-per-damage and using the most out of a GCD - for a destro, corr doesn't do enough damage to make it worth useable other than if you're moving around a lot.

I asked that not so long ago, difference was I asked it in a respectable way and got a respectable answer out of it. Didn't even have to call the guy a noob, would you believe it?

@bastardcartman Corruption is shit for destro. With 3200spellpower selfbuffed(my case) Corruption only ticks for 792, and the GCD used to cast corruption can be used way better with one seconds on Incinerate/CB or reneqing immolate.

Basicaly, All damage that corruption does is lower than one second of casting /Conflag.

@TechKingz destro is fire spec , so corruption does less damage than shadow lock . with 3k spell , corruption ticks for about 1k or 1k200 max (with raid buff and debuff) , every 3 sc and consume a cooldown ... but you can use it when you move , due to its instant cast.

the thing about demonology is that your dps is not constantly. I mean..you`l get over 8k, only if the target is under 30%, when u can cast soulfires with reduced cast time and no shards + molten core that gives you some cast speed and some damage..try affliction mate..get over 1k haste get a black magic on your weapon :) and exercise the dots (my advice) becouse you can get 6k on a single target with all dots up. If u manage to keep them up on 3 targets (thats max) your the man :D

why don`t you get affliction and try to keep all of your dots up (exersize that atleast 1 hour/day) on all 3 dummys :) and your dps should get over 10k :) destruction sucks. Proove your skills with the dots, thats why your a warlock :) not a mage

Even with the gear dps is alittle low. My lock with similiar GS pulls around 8.1k+ and thats the none heroic dummy. I never use the heroic dummy lol i have like 275 hit rating i do around 7.3k tho with the misses.

@Frallemannen He's not dps'ing the heroic dummy. You don't do more damage on a lvl 60 target than you do on a lvl 83+ target. Point beeing, he does it because he hasn't hit the hard hit cap, which is perfectly viable for any raiding warlock because you will have a shadow priest in your raid providing the raid with +3% to hit.

@bedeone and you do do more dmg on a lvl 60 dummy because they resist ALOT less. My avg inc on a heroic dummy is 12k, on a nonheroic around 12.5-13k.
