I do not see it as an insult i see it as a way to show how they would treat us and sell us. They said we were "3/5" human and were property but as a young black teen in America today we have moved past physical slavery and are in the most daunting form, Mental slavery, so many black youths today entranced by the "Dope Boy" lifestyle today I want to see young black people as successful people, not "corner boys" and "hoochies"

I agree. The founders of America were mainly Deist in their religious beliefs but unfortunately some of Christian "morality" slipped through- like slavery! The Bible says that slaves should be kept serve their Christian masters well.
