  • Hey man, thanks for posting! I have surgery with Dr. G in May....you look great! I'm really glad I decided to go with him.

  • looks AMAZING!!!!!!! Congrats! I cant wait to be in your shoes in about three weeks!

  • your chest is *awesome* - i hope mine looks that good one day! congrats, man!

  • If I wasn't so afraid of passing out, because I'm a HUGE sissy, I would have watched this video.

Regardless, I'm glad you're doing better, or at least I think you're doing better.

  • congrats man, im having mine done in about 8 weeks with Dr. G, where did you get your post surgical binder from?

  • Dr. G doesn't require you to wear a binder. He wraps you pretty tight right after surgery and you wear that for the first 6-7 days. After he takes that off of you, he'll show you how to care for your nipple grafts and go over what activities you shouldn't do for the next 5 weeks. I did wear my T-kingdom binder a couple of days when I came home, but it was really irritating under the arms (where it was quite swollen). I'll be posting another vid on Friday to show my progress.

  • hmmm, I thought you had to wear on after the dressing came off for a few weeks to help keep the swelling down?

  • I know other surgeons require their patients to wear one after surgery, but Dr. G doesn't. I asked him about whether he provided one or if I needed to buy one before I flew out there, and the answer was no. He just doesn't want you to be active with your arms for 6 weeks after surgery to minimize the development of seromas (fluid between your skin and the muscle).

  • well thats interesting, when i talked to him said something about not providing the post surgical binder, but maybe thats cause im very large chested and he did say something about the more tissue removed the fluid trys to fill that space, but ill have to call him to clearify this.

  • Yeah, I'd be interested to hear what he tells you about that. I went to work the other night, and was so sore, I came home and wrapped lightly with an Ace Bandage to add some support and prevent swelling overnight. It worked well, but I don't wear it all the time.

  • maaaaaaaan your chest looks awesome, i mean more than that!!!!! congrats!!

  • your chest looks great! congrats!
