@THEpillows100 well its because many traditional WC ppl dont. Your group happens to do them. Im addressing all traditional arts that are frowned upon today due to MMA (WC,karate, aikido). But Im explaining why they arent in the UFC. To compete in the UFC your level of conditioning, grappling and strength needs to be on par with theirs. And while there WC ppl who adapt these things, they havent done so to the extent to compete in the UFC because their aim isnt to be pro fighters.
The reason why there are no WC/Aikido ppl in the UFC is because they aren't trained "fighters", they are martial artists. Fighting is a separate skill in itself that goes hand in hand with martial arts. A WC master will probably get dominated by a UFC fighter due to lack of conditioning, strength, or grappling skills, despite vastly superior striking skills. But, if these UFC fighters had half the skills that these WC/Karate masters have they would be unstoppable. Like Anderson Silva or GSP.
Aikido can be useful, boxing can be useful, wing chun, muay thai, kickboxing, greco roman wrestling. Take a peice of each, and the more you take from, the more your arsenal grows so to speak. If you limit yourself to two or three styles, then you are limited. If you open yourself to more then styles, then you allow yourself room to grow, and your martial art form to grow. Like a great fighter once said, "if you pour water into a cup, it becomes the cup...be water my friend."
What makes a great fighter is the ability to take what you can from any martial art form and make it work for you. If you can't make it work and adapt it into yourself then you don't use it. MMA is an interesting concept because when it started out, it looked like a toughman contest. Mostly big guys throwing haymakers. Now it's people from all over the world integrating different martial arts together to make an art form.
I think anyone who believes that any martial art is "worthless" or "useless" is a bit Naive. Take what they call MMA. Okay lets spell it out. Mixed Martial Arts. MMA utilizes different martial art forms to make great fighters. Take some of the best recognized MMA fighters. Royce Gracie introduced Jui Jitsu and dominated MMA for some time. When Muay Thai was brought into MMA the vicious leg kicks and elbows brought in a whole new element. Lyoto Machida proved Karate works.
guys guys its not about style its how good you are at whatever you do. have a mma fighter with one year experience vs a very experienced master in any style, who obviously wins? same concept vice versa.
those who talk shit about wing chun must be ignorant fools. If WC is ineffective then why do so many ppl practice it? Try to defeat a WC master then talk.
@tonywho3 funny you say that because a wing chun master has never stepped up to defend the integrity of his style in the UFC... it's not like people don't want to kick the shit out of a wing chun master... many guys are ready and willing to make an example out of a wing chun master... but it's the wing chun masters who don't fucking step up to bat... why? maybe because they are afraid that they will get their asses kicked?
Well I wouldn't be surprised if a Wc master beat a ufc fighter in a fight or vice versa. My point is that WC is effective. How do I know? Bruce Lee's JKD incorporated WC. If WC is ineffective or "trash" Bruce Lee wouldn't have include it in JKD.
@tonywho3 i don't know... but probably the biggest reason is that aikido is a completely worthless martial art in terms of actually defending yourself or any combat application. Could be also because they don't believe in offense as well and living in harmony and all that other good shit... but mostly because they fucking suck at combat... that's what i think...
@MrDioXIII Sorry you cannot see Wing Chun for the art that it is... but rather only as the art that you want it to be! Fight against a WC practitioner? I have nothing to prove... I am not a fighter, nor do I claim to be a fighter... Sad news is... neither is this joker Wong...
@aikidoisthebombyeah You're a damn fool... You must have so much time on your hands that you must go to a video and whine about how "fake" it is. If you don't claim to be a fighter, why else would you be here? I respectfully hope you don't reproduce. Don't bother replying, I don't want to waste my time with you, but a word of advice. You should really learn to respect others, or you won't make it very far in life.
@SkyPhyre2 how can you respect a dude who demonstrates a double rear palm strike? I mean come on... striking behind you? That has got to be the most inefficient use of biomechanics that ANYONE has ever seen. If you want to dispute that, YOU ARE FUCKING RETARDED. Now if he would have just grabbed the balls and squeezed as hard as he could, then that would actually be believable... but he had to strike backwards, at such an awkward angle and with poor biomechanics AND FAKE NOISES. Total Shit!!
@aikidoisthebombyeah hey, i know you guys are argueing about it now, so i thought i shouLd just have it cLeared up for me, so you guys are saying that the rear paLm thing is bogus right?
@HydrophobicPELICAN not just the rear palm strike... the whole video is bogus... anyone who has studied any type of throwing martial art, judo, wrestling, whatever, can easily see that the throws used by WSL in the video are totally off-balance and without power. add to it the fake kung fu striking noises... that is a real bummer... i'd love to see a WC "master" put on the gloves and just spar with a western boxing "master". that would put all doubt to rest...
ooh shit look its 'Aikidoisthebombyeah", the worlds greatest martial artist, he knows the way of the keyboard fist. watch him bash a martial art he probably has never fought against before. Be careful, he might just troll you to death.
Seriously, if you think this is shit, then don't watch it or even better don't talk shit about it
@MrDioXIII seriously though... why would this guy have a double rear palm strike? how can i not talk shit when he's demonstrating a double rear palm strike? do you actually believe that it would work in a real fight? striking an opponent behind you with a double palm strike? how much force do you expect to connect with? where do you expect to hit him? A shoulder and forearm shrug at 1:40... can it really "repel an attacker?" What else looks fake in this video besides those 2 techniques?
@ReetBoii and why do you think that I've only seen 1 clip? Please tell me, what's up with the fake striking noises? It certainly makes Wong seem as if he's delivering his strikes with exceptional power, especially to the average person who doesn't know shit about striking. Why waste ANY time practicing this shit at 5:15 when in real fights... wing chun looks like watch?v=qzlDFKNoJ2M? Notice in the video, the fighters are TURNING THEIR HIPS... Looks like boxing... Chew on that for a while...
@MrDioXIII come on my brother, why so hostile? WSL is demonstrating a DOUBLE REAR PALM STRIKE for God's sake... do you actually expect for us to take this video seriously??? Dude, it's a complete joke... he was totally joking when he made this video. Can't you tell? What in your right mind actually makes you think that he was serious when he included that technique in this video? It was very well known that WSL was quite a character and joker... many times played pranks on his students.
@MrDioXIII I challenge you to find ANY FIGHT FOOTAGE of WSL in an actual real fight. Isn't it reasonable that after winning about 30 straight fights, his reputation would be so good, that there would be a camera crew that followed him every time he fought... I'm willing to bet that you have never seen footage of him fighting either. The fact that you'd even believe that he'd been in 60 underground fights without seeing any footage of him actually fighting is totally incomprehensible.
@TheChristopherHope so what you are saying is that you CANNOT FIND ANY fight footage of WSL. So let me get this straight, there is absolutely NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE that WSL had been involved in 60 fights, other than what is written in books, on the internet, or spread through word of mouth... is this accurate to say? Who is being not reasonable?
@aikidoisthebombyeah Youtube search Wing Chun vs Praying Mantis you will find an old black and white video of WSL fighting.
However, this video of it is much shorter than the original, by about 3 minutes, so it's only almost a screenshot of it. It is probably the only footage you will find, since obviously of the lack of available of media recording devices of the day, and the fact if any footage was taken, it was done so a long time ago and maybe lost.
@aikidoisthebombyeah I just read the entire argument that u have started and I have to say you are a complete idiot. Sure there may not be clear cut evidence of this guy's fights but his techniques are accurate and work. If you don't like the style then u don't gotta shout out that it's bogus and ineffective. You should learn to respect other fighting styles because although people fight differently, we all have the same integrity. Wing Chun (popularized by Ipman) has over 2 million disciples.
@sly741x you can say whatever the fuck you want... there is still not a master of wing chun who has ever won the UFC... so fuck you... there is clear cut evidence that Muay Thai works... There is clear cut evidence that San Shou works... there is clear cut evidence that BJJ works... that boxing works... that fucking wrestling works... we're talking about fucking fighting... not a bunch of faggots sitting around drinking tea... i respect styles that back up their claims of martial effectiveness.
@aikidoisthebombyeah That's because using Wing Chun as a weapon and going into the ufc and fighting is not it's intended purpose. Even Ip Chun describes it as more as a health regime and self defence. Many people believe that fighting is never the answer which is why most martial arts are self defence related and not used just to beat people on the streets.
@sly741x so what are you saying? that wing chun is useless for fighting? then why call it a martial art? swimming is good for your health... learning how to sprint really fast is probably better for self-defense than anything else... why do you say that self-defense and martial effectiveness are exclusive of each other? can't you learn self-defense and still know how to whoop a person's ass if you really needed to?
@aikidoisthebombyeah I'm not saying Wing Chun is useless if you are fighting with that style. I'm saying that people shouldn't be using it as a threat like going around to people on the street beating them up and mugging them. It's self defence meaning you do not trigger the fight and throw the first punch. The UFC it's your choice to join and fight other people for fame, glory, money, ... etc. But most martial arts agree that it's better to use it as a self defence and not for vengeance.
@sly741x i would say that all martial artists with any sense of morality would agree that martial arts should not be used to bully people or kick people's asses... now what does that have to do with effectiveness and practicality? because there are guys who fight every day on the street and don't study any martial arts and have no sense of morality, but could still kick the shit outta someone if they wanted to... or defend themselves against another asshole... what's your point?
@aikidoisthebombyeah my point is (since u stated earlier that there is still not a master of wing chun that has ever won the ufc and theres no clear cut evidence of the effectiveness of a "bunch of faggots sitting around drinking tea") the reason there is little evidence and the reason wing chun masters dont just join the ufc is because like i said they dont ask to fight. Self Defence. that's why then dont join ufc or any of that other nonsense. And the ppl who u stated in ur last comment.
@aikidoisthebombyeah are just ppl who have brute force and muscles to win their fights. they could probably beat up ppl who have less strength as them and do not know any martial arts or techniques of their own. since there are many ppl who dont know martial arts compared to the rest of the world. that's why these brute force ppl can beat down many others. But a good martial artist can take them down with the right techniques.
@sly741x i got news for you... just because you train a martial art, it does not mean you will be able to defend yourself. lots of people train TKD, Tai Chi, and karate and even BJJ and MMA. It doesn't mean shit. A real fight is totally unpredictable and you don't know what's going to happen. to say that a "good martial artist" can take them down with the right techniques is a statement of false confidence.
@aikidoisthebombyeah clearly technique is more important than just straight out power. If u have a lot of strrength that's great! good for u but if u can never land a blow on the guy because he blocks or dodges and counter attacks then u can't do jack.
@aikidoisthebombyeah and also the style that u utilize or train does not matter. it's all about just you which means there's no best fighting style out there and there are no fighting styles that are better than others. It depends on how you yourself utilize your style.
@aikidoisthebombyeah one of these students includes the famous martial artist Bruce Lee. The reason why u don't see this type of martial arts often is because there are so many fighting styles out there. Keep in the mind the odds of you finding a specific fighting style anywhere u go is very small. You can't just say a fighting style is useless and fake just because u don't see it out there in the real world where YOU LIVE. I know this argument is 3 months old but I just had to tell you this now
@sly741x i don't see this type of martial arts often??? are you joking??? wing chun is like the most popular chinese martial art known to human beings... why??? all because of bruce lee no doubt... in fact, nobody would even fucking know what wing chun was unless it was for bruce lee. i didn't say that wing chun was useless. i said WSL was a fucking bullshit fake... he's doing a double rear palm strike with fake noises added in this video!!! isn't that proof enough that it's fake???
@aikidoisthebombyeah oh and i LEarned about it from ip man, i used to be interested in aikido, i dont fight and never have and it might be siLLy to go after these cause i thought they Looked cooL in movies but if i ever did get in a fight, weLL i am kinda insecure that i wouLd not be abLe to controL a fight or even stand up for myseLF, do you think i shouLD train under someone for aikido or wing chun?
@HydrophobicPELICAN i think that if you really wanted to learn self-defense, i would learn a combination of BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU and some form of striking... such as kickboxing or western boxing... if you only had time to train a few hours a week, and you were serious about learning self-defense FAST, then I'd suggest you learn brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Guess what? I took a nice sh** today. Just because it wasn't caught on camera doesn't mean it didn't happen. Even the best documented events in history are disputed.
Look. I'm not saying I believe with certainty he fought "60 street fights" or whatever - maybe it was less - maybe it was more. I'm really not that bothered about it. As a Wing Chun student, I am aware of Master Wong's incredible reputation and I am humbled by his achievements. He has nothing to 'prove' to me.
@TheChristopherHope so what, i should fucking believe in bigfoot because fucking 2 million assholes around the world fucking believe in him? are you fucking stupid? WSL has nothing to prove to you because you have been brainwashed... when some motherfucker claims that he or his master has kicked some ass in over 60 street fights, that is some bold ass shit to say... logically, you would expect for people to say... WHERE'S THE BEEF??? Either you fucking show some proof, or you shut your mouth.
@MrDioXIII "regardless of power, it will make the guy let go..." Dude, are you for real? You still think that he wasn't joking? Try this... find a training partner and let him grab you from behind and then you try to do this technique, just like how the old man does it in the video. Same mechanics and everything. But allow your partner to fully resist. Film results and upload here. If your palm strike doesn't work, will you admit that WSL was horsing around when he put that technique in?
@MrDioXIII wait i know... the reason that he doesn't have any fight footage of himself is because they didn't allow filming at underground illegal fights in hong kong... so there were like these guards there that made sure nobody was taking pictures or filming. so why do great masters only fight at illegal underground fights that have organized security and also don't allow cameras or video? 60 underground illegal fights... do you know how many fights that is? no footage at all? can this be?
@ReetBoii2:00... The human body was not anatomically designed to strike at opponents STANDING BEHIND YOU... The double rear palm strike in Wing Chun is a complete BULLSHIT technique. So what else in this video is BULLSHIT? Stands to reason that if 1 technique is BULLSHIT, then maybe something is BULLSHIT too. Watch this WC video... /watch?v=qzlDFKNoJ2M/ Do you see any slapping in this video? Why spend your time slapping each other when that shit never happens in real life? Waste of time!
@ReetBoii So I just want to make certain so I don't misunderstand... Training is more "like a game" then the actual combat is designed to "improve accuracy and control." When 2 boxers spar, are they "playing a game?" I guess it depends on how hard they spar, right? But is the actual boxing match designed to improve accuracy and control? When is actual combat an opportunity to work on improving "accuracy and control"? Shouldn't ACTUAL COMBAT be a time when you're not WORKING on anything?
@xHexagon This video is obviously very old, but why are fake noises added to this video? Why are fake noises added to any Chinese kungfu movie? People's arms don't make noise in real life... it's obviously fake! WHAT ELSE IS FAKE IN THIS VIDEO? If they faked the noises, is it reasonable to assume that other things could have also been faked? Is it possible that some of the techniques were just created on the fly for this video? ...5:15 who fights this like bro?
".5:15 who fights this like bro?" You are obviously quite judgmental after watching one clip, seeming you have absolutely no knowledge of Wing Chun the 'sticky hands' is not a FIGHTING TECHNIQUE but a training method, its more like a game then the actual combat its designed to improve accuracy and control.
Do some research b4 u drop ur shit in the comments!
@xHexagon BTW... this is not Chinese martial art... you wanna see REAL CHINESE MARTIAL ART? Go study Shuaijiao or Sanshou. Sanshou integrates striking, kicking and throws into a very effective standing martial art... AND... Shuaijiao and Sanshou guys spar when they train... not like these guys... look at the throw he demonstrates at 2:00... it's fucking pathetic... clearly his footwork demonstrates that he has no knowledge of throwing... ask any longtime practitioner of judo or wrestling...
@xHexagon at 1:27 look at the posture of his body, how his elbows are flared out and away from his ribs. He is not able to use any body weight behind the block technique... pure arm strength... wouldn't be such a problem if he was the Incredible Hulk... Why would a "MASTER" of Wing Chun even demonstrate a technique that is devoid of any leverage? He is blocking the attacker's LEG with his ARM... What is stronger? A leg or an arm? Why do u refuse to see PHONEY when it's in front of you?
nobody fucking fights like this... this is not what happens in a real street fight... gimme a break man... anyone can look like a grandmaster during a demonstration against cooperative students. why are fake slap noises being added to this soundtrack? isn't it painfully obvious that at :50, the technique looks so weak and devoid of any leverage or power? isn't it obvious that his students are fully cooperating with him 150%? how does this make him a master??? for god sakes wake up people!!!
@kirecorp what proof do you or anyone else have besides sheer hearsay that this dude has been in and WON AT LEAST 60 street fights... who were his opponents? i mean i don't understand the mentality of this kind of worship of martial arts masters... why do people do this? what purpose does it serve? isn't it obvious to you that he is demonstrating these techniques against his own students who aren't fighting back? where is there any footage that shows him actually fighting???
@forwardintent care to share with us any footage of those 100 duels? surely after so many duels, there must be some footage of these fabulous fights?
@andy59tube what makes you think i even train martial arts? I'm just asking a simple question? how many real fights do you think this guy has been in? what makes him qualified to demonstrate or teach a martial art if he has never been in a real fight? does he even spar with his students?
Yea I have same problem, no one to practise with. My girlfriend does karate and dont have time and I would like to practise with one who knows about wt and knows how to do it. It's annoying, should get dummy, expect the price is always so high. I love this art!
Yea @80kungfu,I have no one either,I've had to simply use the edge of the walls n practice...or shadow box n practice the techniques in the air..its way better with some help tho

Sure there may not be clear cut evidence of this guy's fights but his techniques are accurate and work. If you don't like the style then u don't gotta shout out that it's bogus and ineffective. You should learn to respect other fighting styles because although people fight differently, we all have the same integrity. Wing Chun (popularized by Ipman) has over 2 million disciples.
sly741x 7 months ago
@sly741x you can say whatever the fuck you want... there is still not a master of wing chun who has ever won the UFC... so fuck you... there is clear cut evidence that Muay Thai works... There is clear cut evidence that San Shou works... there is clear cut evidence that BJJ works... that boxing works... that fucking wrestling works... we're talking about fucking fighting... not a bunch of faggots sitting around drinking tea... i respect styles that back up their claims of martial effectiveness.
aikidoisthebombyeah 7 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah That's because using Wing Chun as a weapon and going into the ufc and fighting is not it's intended purpose. Even Ip Chun describes it as more as a health regime and self defence. Many people believe that fighting is never the answer which is why most martial arts are self defence related and not used just to beat people on the streets.
sly741x 6 months ago
@sly741x so what are you saying? that wing chun is useless for fighting? then why call it a martial art? swimming is good for your health... learning how to sprint really fast is probably better for self-defense than anything else... why do you say that self-defense and martial effectiveness are exclusive of each other? can't you learn self-defense and still know how to whoop a person's ass if you really needed to?
aikidoisthebombyeah 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah I'm not saying Wing Chun is useless if you are fighting with that style. I'm saying that people shouldn't be using it as a threat like going around to people on the street beating them up and mugging them. It's self defence meaning you do not trigger the fight and throw the first punch. The UFC it's your choice to join and fight other people for fame, glory, money, ... etc. But most martial arts agree that it's better to use it as a self defence and not for vengeance.
sly741x 6 months ago
@sly741x i would say that all martial artists with any sense of morality would agree that martial arts should not be used to bully people or kick people's asses... now what does that have to do with effectiveness and practicality? because there are guys who fight every day on the street and don't study any martial arts and have no sense of morality, but could still kick the shit outta someone if they wanted to... or defend themselves against another asshole... what's your point?
aikidoisthebombyeah 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah my point is (since u stated earlier that there is still not a master of wing chun that has ever won the ufc and theres no clear cut evidence of the effectiveness of a "bunch of faggots sitting around drinking tea") the reason there is little evidence and the reason wing chun masters dont just join the ufc is because like i said they dont ask to fight. Self Defence. that's why then dont join ufc or any of that other nonsense. And the ppl who u stated in ur last comment.
sly741x 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah are just ppl who have brute force and muscles to win their fights. they could probably beat up ppl who have less strength as them and do not know any martial arts or techniques of their own. since there are many ppl who dont know martial arts compared to the rest of the world. that's why these brute force ppl can beat down many others. But a good martial artist can take them down with the right techniques.
sly741x 6 months ago
@sly741x i got news for you... just because you train a martial art, it does not mean you will be able to defend yourself. lots of people train TKD, Tai Chi, and karate and even BJJ and MMA. It doesn't mean shit. A real fight is totally unpredictable and you don't know what's going to happen. to say that a "good martial artist" can take them down with the right techniques is a statement of false confidence.
aikidoisthebombyeah 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah clearly technique is more important than just straight out power. If u have a lot of strrength that's great! good for u but if u can never land a blow on the guy because he blocks or dodges and counter attacks then u can't do jack.
sly741x 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah and also the style that u utilize or train does not matter. it's all about just you which means there's no best fighting style out there and there are no fighting styles that are better than others. It depends on how you yourself utilize your style.
sly741x 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah one of these students includes the famous martial artist Bruce Lee. The reason why u don't see this type of martial arts often is because there are so many fighting styles out there. Keep in the mind the odds of you finding a specific fighting style anywhere u go is very small. You can't just say a fighting style is useless and fake just because u don't see it out there in the real world where YOU LIVE. I know this argument is 3 months old but I just had to tell you this now
sly741x 7 months ago
@sly741x i don't see this type of martial arts often??? are you joking??? wing chun is like the most popular chinese martial art known to human beings... why??? all because of bruce lee no doubt... in fact, nobody would even fucking know what wing chun was unless it was for bruce lee. i didn't say that wing chun was useless. i said WSL was a fucking bullshit fake... he's doing a double rear palm strike with fake noises added in this video!!! isn't that proof enough that it's fake???
aikidoisthebombyeah 7 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah lol u guys have some funny comments

@aikidoisthebombyeah oh and i LEarned about it from ip man, i used to be interested in aikido, i dont fight and never have and it might be siLLy to go after these cause i thought they Looked cooL in movies but if i ever did get in a fight, weLL i am kinda insecure that i wouLd not be abLe to controL a fight or even stand up for myseLF, do you think i shouLD train under someone for aikido or wing chun?
HydrophobicPELICAN 7 months ago
@HydrophobicPELICAN i think that if you really wanted to learn self-defense, i would learn a combination of BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU and some form of striking... such as kickboxing or western boxing... if you only had time to train a few hours a week, and you were serious about learning self-defense FAST, then I'd suggest you learn brazilian jiu-jitsu.
aikidoisthebombyeah 6 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah
TheChristopherHope 11 months ago 2
@TheChristopherHope so what, i should fucking believe in bigfoot because fucking 2 million assholes around the world fucking believe in him? are you fucking stupid? WSL has nothing to prove to you because you have been brainwashed... when some motherfucker claims that he or his master has kicked some ass in over 60 street fights, that is some bold ass shit to say... logically, you would expect for people to say... WHERE'S THE BEEF??? Either you fucking show some proof, or you shut your mouth.
aikidoisthebombyeah 7 months ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah
So no. It's not reasonable to say that. ;)
TheChristopherHope 1 year ago
@MrDioXIII "regardless of power, it will make the guy let go..." Dude, are you for real? You still think that he wasn't joking? Try this... find a training partner and let him grab you from behind and then you try to do this technique, just like how the old man does it in the video. Same mechanics and everything. But allow your partner to fully resist. Film results and upload here. If your palm strike doesn't work, will you admit that WSL was horsing around when he put that technique in?
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@MrDioXIII wait i know... the reason that he doesn't have any fight footage of himself is because they didn't allow filming at underground illegal fights in hong kong... so there were like these guards there that made sure nobody was taking pictures or filming. so why do great masters only fight at illegal underground fights that have organized security and also don't allow cameras or video? 60 underground illegal fights... do you know how many fights that is? no footage at all? can this be?
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@ReetBoii 2:00... Waste of time!
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@ReetBoii So I just want to make certain so I don't misunderstand... Training is more "like a game" then the actual combat is designed to "improve accuracy and control." When 2 boxers spar, are they "playing a game?" I guess it depends on how hard they spar, right? But is the actual boxing match designed to improve accuracy and control? When is actual combat an opportunity to work on improving "accuracy and control"? Shouldn't ACTUAL COMBAT be a time when you're not WORKING on anything?
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@xHexagon This video is obviously very old, but why are fake noises added to this video? Why are fake noises added to any Chinese kungfu movie? People's arms don't make noise in real life... it's obviously fake! WHAT ELSE IS FAKE IN THIS VIDEO? If they faked the noises, is it reasonable to assume that other things could have also been faked? Is it possible that some of the techniques were just created on the fly for this video? ...5:15 who fights this like bro?
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah
ReetBoii 1 year ago
@xHexagon BTW... this is not Chinese martial art... you wanna see REAL CHINESE MARTIAL ART? Go study Shuaijiao or Sanshou. Sanshou integrates striking, kicking and throws into a very effective standing martial art... AND... Shuaijiao and Sanshou guys spar when they train... not like these guys... look at the throw he demonstrates at 2:00... it's fucking pathetic... clearly his footwork demonstrates that he has no knowledge of throwing... ask any longtime practitioner of judo or wrestling...
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@xHexagon at 1:27 look at the posture of his body, how his elbows are flared out and away from his ribs. He is not able to use any body weight behind the block technique... pure arm strength... wouldn't be such a problem if he was the Incredible Hulk... Why would a "MASTER" of Wing Chun even demonstrate a technique that is devoid of any leverage? He is blocking the attacker's LEG with his ARM... What is stronger? A leg or an arm? Why do u refuse to see PHONEY when it's in front of you?
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
nobody fucking fights like this... this is not what happens in a real street fight... gimme a break man... anyone can look like a grandmaster during a demonstration against cooperative students. why are fake slap noises being added to this soundtrack? isn't it painfully obvious that at :50, the technique looks so weak and devoid of any leverage or power? isn't it obvious that his students are fully cooperating with him 150%? how does this make him a master??? for god sakes wake up people!!!
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah Dont fuck with chinese martial arts. Keep it to yourself if you think it's fake.
xHexagon 1 year ago
@kirecorp what proof do you or anyone else have besides sheer hearsay that this dude has been in and WON AT LEAST 60 street fights... who were his opponents? i mean i don't understand the mentality of this kind of worship of martial arts masters... why do people do this? what purpose does it serve? isn't it obvious to you that he is demonstrating these techniques against his own students who aren't fighting back? where is there any footage that shows him actually fighting???
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@forwardintent care to share with us any footage of those 100 duels? surely after so many duels, there must be some footage of these fabulous fights?
@andy59tube what makes you think i even train martial arts? I'm just asking a simple question? how many real fights do you think this guy has been in? what makes him qualified to demonstrate or teach a martial art if he has never been in a real fight? does he even spar with his students?
aikidoisthebombyeah 1 year ago
@aikidoisthebombyeah Dude this is Wong Shun Leung, the teacher of Bruce Lee...write his name in google he won at least 60 street fights..
and he's dead -.-"

Yea I have same problem, no one to practise with. My girlfriend does karate and dont have time and I would like to practise with one who knows about wt and knows how to do it. It's annoying, should get dummy, expect the price is always so high. I love this art!

Yea @80kungfu,I have no one either,I've had to simply use the edge of the walls n practice...or shadow box n practice the techniques in the air..its way better with some help tho
