@sasha357100 Punk and emo bands are far closer together than say... Rush and Pink Floyd. Yet those bands are both considered "progressive rock". Although I admit I think any musical "genre" invented after the 90's is pretty wack... just because nothing is sounding *that* different from older stuff to warrant its own name. But ya can't deny that emo and punk are on the same branch of the family tree. As opposed to say.. dubstep, chamber music, or dixieland.

Nice cover, though being a huge fan of the original oldies, I have to say this cover could benefit form a little more melody in the vocals (I know melodic vocals aren't a big part of this genre, but when covering a piece that has melodic vocals, it's really a good idea).

Sometimes even when the singer is a good singer they tend to sound bad at certain times. It depends on the acoustics of the building or perhaps something was just wrong that night/day. I've seen lots of bands who's lead singers sounded horrible in studio sessions like this then sound great in a venue or a different studio.

Honestly, i believe that Kyle Dee has one of the best voices. I think that you judging him off of one song is not fair at all. Not to mention this was recorded well over a year or two ago. He was only 16 when this was recorded give him a break, where were you when you were 16? He's trying his best and obviously proved that he can do what he was trying to accomplish, now that hes older he's amazing and even sounds a lot better.
