  • Get well soon

  • Suddenly it's really 1984 up in here. This band pretty much owned that year here in America.

  • My mum said that I used to sing 'doctor doctor' when it came out, I was 3 years old :D

  • aren't you pleased we saw/lived the 80s for real.

    go on confess hehe ;)

  • wooow, look at their AMAZING hair! :O

  • Somebody really needs to fire that donkey Wright !!!

    He's not even funny?

  • Shut the fuck up Wright.

  • looks like that guy is humping the keyboard!

  • @nirvanarock82 If you look carefully,he actually IS shagging the keyboard. That's why this version was only allowed to be shown after the watershed.

  • Love the keyboards on this song. I'm a classic rock fan of the 60s and 70s, BUT I will always have a special place in my soul for this 80s music. By this time, I was really into clubbing, and this genre was great party music for dancing and clubbing.

  • great to hear this old song again...

  • tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune

  • The 80's--it was cool to be happy, even over-the-top happy.

  • the flu years

  • "Fever breathe your love on me (breathe your love)

Take away my name (take away)

Fever lay your hands on me (breathe your love)

    Never be the same"

  • Nostalgia bomb!

  • i still love the 80's... thanks for the video.

  • exquisite!!

  • im 15 and love this song.......... i have to thank my parents to showing me real music! :)

  • why do they never play good stuff like this on the radio

  • haha. That chick on the xylaphone always freaked me out. Still does. christ!

  • nice music \*-*/

  • AIDS! "doctor doctor can't you stop my fever-fever? faggotry!

  • Can we please go back to this era????

  • Man this has to be the greatest song ever made , just listen to the lyrics............. and look how elegantly dressed they are , i missed the 80's

  • wonderful

  • sorry, but this is crap!

  • @kotpet russians are all fucking retards. your opinions on music are are like your country. pointless

  • @MrPblower yasssss!!!!

  • @kotpet YOUR FUCKING CRAP BIOoOOOOOTCH! >:/

  • this is CRAP! this assholes don't even play their own shit! look guitar is not connected to start with.... that is exactly where music went WRONG!

  • @kotpet :During the eighties everything was lipsyncked on tv. Lower budgets as now. And for sure the 80's go into history as best musical decade ever. Original and experimantal. You wanna now where music went wrong ? Since music is all about the money. And that started with crappy hiphop, rap and stupid brainless dancemusic !!

  • to get to number 3 or higher now, you have to suck your teeth, swear in your rapping and disrespect everyone. Bring back the 80s...

  • The Unfuckables lol!!!

  • They should make this vieo with Doctor Who! :)

  • I thought they were a cool new wave/pop band for the time. I knew they wouldn't last long(like most of the '80's bands) but I enjoyed 'em while they were here. Would like to find out what the members are up to now.

  • always dug the breakdown synth at 2:40

Patient: "Doctor, doctor, can't u see I'm burning. burning?" "Is this love I'm feelin'?"

Doctor: "No, sir...that would be gonnorhea. Now let's extract that nasty culture sample from the head of your penis...stat!"

  • always dug the breakdown synth at 2:40

  • Dig the chick's hatwear...lol

where were u in FEB. 1984?

  • Dig the chick's hatwear...lol

  • why are the start of these always ruined by people who have never in their life strung a cubase sequence together - opi nionated w*****s!

  • I was searching for their "Don't Mess With Dr. Dream (?)" and glad I got this!!!

  • I'm only 18 years old, but I'm absolutely obsessed with 80's and early 90's music. My parents practically raised me on this stuff. This is REAL music, I can't stand the crap that students my age listen too.

    Thanks for the upload mate.

  • @absolutionaryism

You should check out a band called Japan, they were the change over from Punk to Futurist - recommended song: Adolecent Sex or Quiet Life

  • @absolutionaryism I agree with u. I was also raised the same way :) my parents are good singers too and they're making some good music also ^_^ i love all the real music. 60s,70s,80s,90s, a few of the early 2000s were the best. Now... its all just... crud. i used to listen to lady g and rihanna, but when i listen to old stuff I'm like "man, all that crud needs to get out of here" If i ever have kids, I'm teaching them the real music.

  • Pure TALENT back in the 80's...

Meanwhile Ronald Reagan was trafficking DOPE from South America to pump the CIA with CA$H to fight the Sandinistas...

  • I had a mad crush on Alannah Currie who was born the exact same day as me.

  • omg ..... this song brings back memories from 25 yreas ago ..... wow how time has flown :)

  • My god does this song take me back to the mid-1980s. I remember hearing this on the radio many times. Always remembered it. Too good a song to forget! And dig the hair!

  • Oh my gosh, such great music. One of their best. I wish us teens had music like this today, and be creative without being laughed at. Now everyone looks the same, same stupid justin beiber haircuts, rap music that nearly every song sounds the same to me. I hope if I ever have kids, their generation can at least be not as bad as the generation I'm in. [ I'm 14, by the way]

  • @dondocooperstein Old school hip hop from the 80's is great, todays rap music doesn't even begin to compare to the stuff being released back then.

  • @richwicz I know what you mean but not all of oldskool hiphop was great. Some was dreadful.

  • we used to wear fat running shoes and neon t~shirts.

    everyone was nice.

    not today.

  • Supeeeer Song 80s Best Music 100% *******

  • this is a BEAUTIFUL song!

  • DOCTOR!!!!!DOCTOR!!!!!!

  • This was the first 7" single I ever bought, aged 10. (Although I bought Super Trooper by Abba in 1979 aged 5/6, Breakout in 1982 for my 9th birthday and NOW1 in 1983, when I went halves with my sister because it cost £6.99.) I was obsessed with the instrumental bit in Doctor Doctor (2:28-3:00, particularly at 2:42 and 5:58) and I used to move the needle back to the start of it several times before being told off by my mum.

  • Steve Wright makes some pathetic and irrelevant comments. What a prick!!

  • it sounds vaguely like the cure o.O

  • I LOVE THIS HAIR CRIME PERIOD HA HA!!!

  • I love Tom Bailey's hair in this vid, amazing i used to have a similar cut, minus the tail. Great song, have this one and the mix version too

  • @TrainmasterCurt me tooooo!!!

  • Good Day

I LOVED this band back then...I had the latter two lps...2 copies each.

Kick myself for passing on "Lies"...I think the 1st lp..1983.

I don't "still" like (not as crazy abt) "all" the 80's music..but do like T.T. & Men Without Hats..!!

  • how did this only get to no3 in the charts? have you heard the shite that gets to no1 today

  • that's why Owner Of A Lonely Heart - Yes Karma Chameleon" Culture Club Jump" Van Halen Footloose" Kenny Loggins Against All Odds" Phil Collins Hello" Lionel Richie Let's Hear It For The Boy" Deniece Williams Time After Time" Cyndi Lauper The Reflex" Duran Duran When Doves Cry" Prince Ghostbusters" Ray Parker, Jr. What's Love Got To Do With It" Tina Turner Missing You" John Waite Let's Go Crazy" Prince I Just Called To Say I Love You" Stevie Wonder Caribbean Queen" Billy Ocean Wake Me Up.." Wham!
  • @chandlerbingbong Its because the standard of music on the 80's was much much better! Todays music is terrible!

  • @chandlerbingbong Erm, because it's shit?

  • i kiss u then and u said u would come and be with me, dance with me across the see, where we can feel the motion of a million dreams

its at night, ull leave b4 the morning light, please dont go, i dont want to stay here on my own, so dr ddr, must find a doctor if cant get my lover to burn with me.

  • Even the tune is dynamite without the lyrics...

    Nice 80's tune.

  • Great song. Too bad this is lip synch

  • Whatsername - the useless Hatstand with the maracas. A Bez before her time.

  • Is it " Doctor, Doctor " can't you see I'm Vernon, Vernon or "Doctor, Doctor " can't you see I'm burnin' burnin' ? Listen carefully to the lyrics to decide yourself.

OR IS THAT JIMMY PAGE GUY IN CAMP DISGUISE AGAIN ?

  • loved this song!!! omg brings back memories

  • Fab song where is this group now

  • I was walking around my local supermarket when this song come over the loudspeaker. Everyone in that shop was singing along to this, very surreal and I will never forget it.

  • @56yqc where that happened?

  • loved them

  • 80's is Legend!!!!!!!

  • I can remember listening to this song on my Walkman late at night....strange to know how many years have passed....these guys were the best

  • Music/fashion in the 80s was quality but everything else fucking sucked, Maggie Thatcher fucking up everything, no internet, no hd and no mobile phones but to be honest I wouldn't miss mobile phones to be honest :O)

  • i love his voice!

  • take me back from the crap now.

  • For Halloween I dressed up like her! Oh, I miss those days and the MUSIC!

  • @JUNEBRIDGIE you and me both

  • without a doubt the 80s was a good decade for music, but it was a disaster for fashion .

  • The 80s was the ultimate time for music; the absolute freedom to create sound, and people like ourselves are still held captivated by it. There weren't any rules in that era, and I for one am a product of, and proud of, everything that was the 80s in music.

  • thought it was ian mc cullough of echo and the bunnymen . even his voice is alike

  • This song still sends a shiver up my spine after all these years. Great stuff. Yet I've seen an interview where the band members dismiss their music as worthless tosh. They were wrong! I'll probably never get sick of listening to this song.

  • Agree. I wish I can go back in time to the 80s. Thompson Twins, Depache Mode, Howard Jones, Crowded House, Bananarama, Culture Club, Duran Duran, plus so many one-hit wonders... real music that today's music isn't anywhere close to in quality...

  • Good music like this is underrated and hard to find these days.

  • These 80's tunes really do make todays groups sound talentless. Brings back so many happy memorys.

  • super life.

  • Nostalgia at it's finest!

  • Nostalgia at it's finest!

  • Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Doctor! Doctor! Can't you see I'm burnin' burnin'? .... Is this LOVE i'M FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLIN?

  • STANDING THERE ONLY DREAMING

  • best years for music and life!

  • lol 3:20 the keyboard player is dicking...

  • I wonder if the black keyboardist was ever accepted by his people ever again?

  • @goblinking169 The answer is no.

  • 1984 RULES!! Young at 17 and still the best year of my life. Great music, friends and the Western World was in the middle of the cold war. I think a lot of the music from the 80's stems from the strife/conflict of the cold war. Live and have fun....are they gonna drop the bomb or not...forever young!! TOTP were very much a part of that feeling.

  • The breaking of the mining industry broke lots of other things and we are paying for it now because we've lost most of our industrial base and the service sector went down the toilet in the depression, sorry, recession.

Anyways, great band and great song.

  • feb 84....this came out the month b4 we went on strike(miners strike).....best year of my life......young free single(and an xr3)no money........but great times...clubbin in newcastle..whitley bay...houghton.....

  • And waht a strike it was eh? Changed the country for sure - some good some bad. I was a big younger but I remember my mum & dad on strike to support the miners - music takes you right back eh mate...

  • Never mind the twat commentator about them not 'smiling' - this great music and this great band made me smile, and that's not a false TV smile either.

  • I didn't realise it at the time, but '80s songs had a totally different structure and pace from songs before or after. They seem somehow very basic, but nonetheless inspired by a bolder place than today's bland offerings.

  • "I saw you threre...just standing there...and I thought I was only dreaming ya."

    Wicked tune, thanks for posting.

  • This is what I call MUSIC!! Man I miss the music so much!

  • me too!

  • Alannah Curries hat deserves a round of applause. Oh how I miss the 80's. Big hats , big hair, ace synths.

  • Oooooohhh!!!! A Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 rev3! What a synth! The sounds of this era are wonderful - they put so much mor thought into the tracks than they do today, 25 years later :o( God I feel so old now.....

  • If You Want More 80's Music, Check Out My Channel

  • Thompson Twins "a product of" still remains a favourite album. The raw side of a group who became very very polished as thier career progressed. Almost entirely precussive and rhythmic.

  • HE IS MARRIED TO THAT GIRL!

  • @uncreativeranter...

Alannah Currie is very sexy and so is Cyndi Lauper!!!! You must appreciate the 80's!!

  • That "woman" is a man. His name is Joe Leeway and he is one of the original members. He left the band in 1985, I believe.

  • je l'avais complétement zappé ce groupe, que de souvenir ........ j'adore

  • Otra gran cancion que acompano mi infancia.

  • Agree with all the sentiments expressed here. One of the most percussive bands of all time. I saw them play live in 1986 and it was an immense privilege. Still one of the finest bands of the finest decade ever, the eighties.

  • They had so many hits during the 80's!

  • tom bailey ALWAYS LUV HIM ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED MEN IN MUSIC HISTORY

  • no way it was me who started the riot after u !!!

  • Really? What song were they performing?

  • why wont i go to see my doctor instead of going to work??????

  • This could be the new theme tune for Gabriel Byrne as Dr Paul Weston in "In Treatment". *cough*

  • hay I'm sorry but i ate two of the three members. I was hungry!

  • this gong back some time

  • " I had a boyfriend that looked and act like tom I had the same saga like he had with Allanah, We both alike had emotional problems.

  • blijft toch goed

  • flaming hair band

  • Was 15 when this was out. All the music from back then sounds much better on modern equipment. Fab tunes back then but you didnt really notice at the time... Now u do.

  • I used to think Tom was John Taylor, they're kinda lookalikes.

  • It becomes very painful ・・・ It is such a tune. The highest tune. Through all eternity.

  • je to super, slovakia dotoho, diskotéka v Panter klube.

  • i just heard this song on the radio yesterday, and i like fell in love with it! it's so great! i wish i was alive in the 80s

  • same

  • The 80's were really the BEST YEARS!! I miss them terrible...:( Wish we could go back in time......

  • @gaboy1966 3 words...hottub time machine...someone needs to invent that shit for real

  • @gaboy1966 You are not the only one gaboy1966

  • @gaboy1966 the 80's were the best for music !!!

  • @mrsdaipunk music, fashion, art is so shit now compared with the 80s. now when i walk round london its so fuckin boring compared to the 80s. everyone here looks like a clone white trainers/sweatpants gross!

  • @MegaRapture i agree with you i loved the 80's fashion ,sad thing is i still wear azure blue !!! i hate being a clone of fashion !!!

  • @mrsdaipunk that sounds hot , azure ble and beige of today, azure blue wins hands down.

  • No decade will ever compare to the 80's, I miss those days and the classic songs that today's generation will never come close to copying

  • You took my words...

  • @ignaciomarley : So true ...

  • @ignaciomarley you got that one right man!

  • @ignaciomarley the 70's and 60's are way better :o

  • @ignaciomarley I totally agree with you. The 80's were the best era ever for music.

  • @ignaciomarley I heartily agree. They're all timeless classics as far as I'm concerned.

  • @ignaciomarley I couldn't have said it better myself hun.... 80's ROCK! The music of today is allot of shite... and don't even get me started on them useless buggers copying tunes/songs etc... it's cos they don't have any imagination of their own!

  • @ignaciomarley shame we cant live in the past but i think every decade needs its own identity, even though the 80s was briliant it has unfortunatly gone....

  • not only is this the TT's best song but this might be one of the most underrated tunes of the 80s

  • This was before the teenage generation was forcibly coerced to worship the no talent jigaboo.

  • what a brillliant these were, they did some brilliant tunes but this one has got to be their very best

  • awesome video, nice upload :)
