In real life, there's a grass divider down the middle of the boulevard, with trees on it. Landing would've been even harder.

Also in real life, there has been a plane actually landing on an avenue in Montreal! Search for 2 videos named "plane lands on street in montreal" by tbonez2006 and "Emergency Landing" by DEBAND227. It was just a small Cessna, an no one was hurt in that incident.

Also, check out xpjets[dot]com. They are a very promising new group of X-Plane aircraft makers. Their 777 is already making big news! =)

At the XPO forums. Go to Engineering Department > Airplane Development Notices > 747-8 > Page 3, Post #28 and scroll down a little for the download file. The aircraft is in public beta, and the current build is Beta 0.1.

How can you find the road. Like which airport to take off from?

The scenery is a work-in-progress. The street is very easy to spot; it is an elevated road above the base terrain.

Takeoff from CYUL rwy 06L. Follow the river until you pass the stadium. Make a sharp U-turn to the right. You should spot Sherbrooke north of the stadium. Align yourself with it and start gliding down. Touch down softly, and voila!
