  • @Pearlaceous I *guess* this is from the DVD "Ballet Miniatures." But I couldn't find more detail of this DVD.

  • @tfg200808 I found that it was conducted by V.Fedotov. Music: Anton Arensky. Chor.: Mikhail Fokine. Dancers: Altynal Asylmuratova, Faroukh Ruzimatov, Alla Dmitrieva, and Margarita Kullik.

  • @tfg200808 - this ballet was supposed to have been staged by Lev Ivanov in 1901, but was later staged by Fokine. This is obviously a modern version. There's a recording of the complete score.

  • Ruzimatov always has such a commanding presence. I always enjoy his dancing and athleticism. Thank you for posting...I have never seen this piece before.
