Why are you people want to use complicated software… When we have this amazing final cut pro x to edit liked a pro….you won't understand, unless you change your editing software to final cut pro x..as we say forget about everything you know about old final cut pro.. this is apple world now.. we need to upgrade or..be complicated forever..lol

Excuse me, but I didn't quite understand how I should click that icon for the two frames to create the fade out effect for the reflected light that will be in the human's body. I already watched Part 2 of this tutorial, and I saw how it fades out, but I can't seem to work it out for me. Can you explain it clearer please by replying to this comment? Thank you.

WOW! I knew how to make muzzle flashes ( went to footage crate.com) but I never really found the perfect pistol muzzle flash. I use FCPX and I never know you could do this! Thank you danonabouncycastle!

@TheMightySandwich This method means you never have to load up another application = no rendering, no realising mistakes and having to go back to the other application and make changes and render out again - It's all here in FCPX!

@danonabouncycastle I've just recently purchased FCP X - and am most certainly considered an amateur. I also have Photoshop CS5 the extended package or whatever (i.e. After Effects) and I am a little worried that After Effects wont go into FCP X? I know that FCP 7 projects do not transfer into FCP X... So I was a little concerned that After Effects also will not transfer. Is there any truth to this? (again, I am most certainly an amateur, this is why I am watching tutorials like a junkie...) hah
